Aldis for @valebound , who later becomes Ellis’ grandfather
Aldis Mazakala, a genteel, telepathic Ninetails who always maintains his human guise–his ancient wisdom and impeccable powers of hypnotism over the susceptible result in his quiet disposition. Rather submissive–especially toward his wife, Uma–Aldis is a soft-spoken man of very few words, although, his soft demeanor isn’t to be mistaken for weakness, as he’s willing to defend his family and their shop at any and all costs. At their shop, Botanique Magique, he provides support to their customers via hypnotherapy, should they so choose. He also bakes treats using the flames from his tails, as well as Uma’s herbal solutions and potions, and as a result, his pastries possess potent magical properties.
He uses a spinning spoon and teacup to hypnotize his patients (thank you Jordan Peele)
Figuring out how to put a unique spin on a Ninetails gijinka was tough, because there are so many...I noticed a lot of people just go with the tails alone for the hair, but they have a whole fluff mane on their neck/chest, so I made him a fluff top. So when he transforms American Werewolf in London style, it all just stretches out to cover his body. You can see the little hair-ears there, too.
He cute, and really Pokemon World-y--he took a while to come up with but it was worth it, I’ve never drawn anyone like him before. Lots of fun.
