the strange case of nick valentine
Hancock: inflation is tearing my family apart
Nick Valentine: *looking at the receipt* it isn't inflation why did you buy 459 canisters of jet
Hancock: they were on sale
Nick Valentine~ YOU ARE NOT HELPING MY CRUSH
Losing my mind over these adorable comments he's made in a couple of the side quests I did today. 😭
This man has such protective instincts programmed into him I SWTG. I played with Hancock a lot of my first playthrough, and never this often did he spawn in THIS CLOSE to my Sole when loading into new cells.
Not to mention, in combat???? This man will literally jump in front of you and push you back in the game. 9 out of 10 times it throws off my aim, BUT CMON HE'S PROTECTING ME. I cant be angry.
He was also NOT amused by my sarcastic "Spectator sport" comment to Moe in Diamond City.
Just a girl, meeting the Railroad for the first time with the approving prideful look of her synth detective boyfriend.
"We aren't alone...Stay behind me, doll."
"I.. uh, well. I love you too. Maybe...that's all that matters."
“Christ doll…” Nick exhaled sharply, the synth might not have lungs but he damn sure felt the need to breathe more often than he liked to admit. “That was a heck of a hit. Y’sure you're alright?” His hand found a place on her shoulder, gently gripping into the fabric of the trenchcoat he had helped her patch up. His amber eyes scan her body up and down, fervently scanning her for injuries.
“Yeah…I’m alright Nicky…” She was quick to respond, but a grunt of pain betraying her attempted calm demeanor. Her lips curled, seething through the pain as she held her left arm close to her torso. She glanced up to meet Nick’s gaze, trying as she might to conceal her pain, lest his processor overload with worry.
