There was a lot of guilt that weighed heavy on her shoulders. She couldn't stop feeling guilty for being captured. How could she let down her guard so easily? There was guilt that she couldn't do anything to fight back but wait. It was all just a reminder that she wasn't strong enough and now she was being used to bring forth fear or to break down their spirits. That's what made her even angrier and yet she couldn't do a single thing. What time was it? Roxanne's leg wouldn't stop shaking as she couldn't help but wonder how long before the full moon came? Another result of a miscalculation. She made sure to stay away from everyone though her worst fear was about to become a reality. She didn't have access to the potion and without taking a single dose of it for days, she knew what the consequences of that would be. Maybe they were using that to their advantage to not get their hands dirty.
Roxanne could feel it slowly start as she tried her best to make herself small. However, that's when freedom was made evident as she stood up and was finally able to see the outside despite the spells and hexes that were being cast, she couldn't even really stop to think about it. She had very little time and she knew that which prompted her to quickly race out. If she could just find a way to keep herself tied somewhere-- maybe if she ran far enough, she could wait it out in the forest but she knew her mind wasn't going to be clear enough to distinguish friend from enemy. With her magic still repressed, she just needed to put distance and fast. Roxanne didn't dare to look back but before she found her way into the forest, she locked eyes with her cousin, James. For a split moment, she felt hope. She couldn't even say anything because the sun was going down and fast. Time was not on her side. Roxanne shook her head and put her hand up to tell him not to come closer before she continued to run off. She didn't get the opportunity to go very far before the eerie sound of her bones shifting could be heard as she fell to her knees as a howl followed.
