lol what current cast? where are they all? but in seriousness, i find them a mixed bag. the men are markedly stronger than the women overall, with the notable exception of sha

to ramble a bit more in-depth on some specifics...

jon: much prefer him in the full production to the staged concert as he does a bit more with the character, although he's always too angry in the later parts which i don't think works for valjean's character arc. but he makes me care about 'bring him home' so that's definitely in his favour

bradley: it's no secret i'm obsessed with him. while i know intellectually that screaming your way through javert's suicide is OTT, i fucking live for it. never thought i would find javert sexy but here we are

chanice: meh

harry: hilarious, love him, possibly my top marius

charlie: also meh

sha: so great. she really gets the fiery parts of eponine's personality and has a lovely voice. definitely my favourite eponine since eva left

gerard: pretty strong

josefina: i liked her a lot in the staged concert but don't think she really lands the humour in the full production

jordan: haven't managed to catch him yet. from audios he seems adequate but not wow

I have never seen Les Mis, scandalous I know. For some reason this song is on my Spotify playlist though and every time I hear it, I bawl. I don’t get why. But I do. Anyway. It showed up on YouTube. I still bawled.
