They might as well have just kept the game CN. Why even make it ‘global’ if global players will be ignored???

If their money is more important than ours, just keep the game atp. They wont be seeing a penny from me ever again. This is so insanely disrespectful to international players. We are CONSTANTLY ignored and disregarded, but CN players throw a tantrum and get what they want immediately. INFOLD has no backbone.

The plan was always to add more LIs, and now the work and creativity put into the story line and characters planned for the future was for nothing.

And FUCK all of the RACIST, bratty, homophobic, losers who threw a fit about Valko. Pls get hit by a truck💖

How I feel about the Valko situation

some of you may not like this but I hope lads gets permanently shut down.

hear me out now...

as much as I love lads even though I have not played the game in over a year I've kept myself updated on the events, banners, myths and other additional updates through social media platforms. Which also means I've also known about the various controversies too.

the game went downhill after caleb's incestuous relationship with mc on throne of eros. Many global fans complained about how icky the trope felt and how unnecessary it was, but infold really decided to just straight up ignore their global audience cause the CN server had no issue with it.

however, the moment CN servers start complaining about the lack of focus for their main li's infold decides to cancel the launch of an entire new character who's lore is actually important to the main story.

this decision will result in so many plot holes and reduce the quality of writing of the main story as they will need to be rushed.

also, the decision to not further develop new LIs means lads is going to get extremely monotonous without any new or fresh content. It's going to be the same boring spicy cards with a hint of poorly written main story update. Which means we'll be getting the same recycled content from the game.

that being said i hope infold grows a fucking backbone and decides to back out from this decision. Maybe they will realise that pissing of a part of your community was a shit move.

however, I don't have a lot of hope seeing how they're blatantly just ignoring us.

lastly I don't feel like being a part of the lads fandom anymore :( I've had a lovely 2 years with this community and made so many memories (was literally able to get closer to my friends because of lads ffs) and got to know so many amazing writers, artists and editors.

Stop spreading rumors and speculation as if it is fact.

Don’t shame or guilt people who are boycotting/uninstalling Love and Deepspace.

ESPECIALLY if you’re getting your info from rumors and speculation on Threads/TikTok/RedNote/Douyin.

These are not official statements that y’all are parroting. These are ideas that players/fans/antis are coming up with on whim.

I uninstalled LADS a while ago because I got bored. I just stayed active on here because this fandom has amazing writers and artists. (I will remain active here)

The reason I reinstalled it was because of Valko and the new additions to the game. But now I’m going to be uninstalling it again.

I’ve been playing this game since the first day of its global release, but I don’t feel comfortable supporting a game/company that prioritizes the views of racists and homophobes over the actual meaning and story of the game.

This game doesn’t feel like a safe space or comfort for women anymore

It now feels like a cash grab that is willing to change ANY and EVERYTHING to appeal to the CN players only.

Also, the main story will have to be re-written ENTIRELY. The plan was ALWAYS to have 6 LIs. So the story that these “fans” claimed to care so much about developing will take EVEN LONGER. And the entire plot will be thrown off.

Lastly, Infold is pathetic. The fans/players should NEVER be in control of the story development and progression. At this point, they might as well just let the players vote on the story/characters every week like it’s “Love Island” or something.

Anyways, I’m pissed.

you can't expect players to just move on like nothing happened? Cancelling Valko means a good portion of the main story will vanish into thin air cause a certain region couldn't handle a 'tan' LI (my man's pasty as a ghost btw).

as a woc i don't feel comfortable supporting or trusting a company that priorities a portion of a certain community that thinks my existence is 'controversial'. By removing Valko Infold has proved where they stand and that their global community doesn't mean shit as long as the CN girlies are well fed and prioritiesed.
