it is kinda funny that TR tried so hard to sideline Loki and it still couldn't succeed. like I wasn't in the fandom at all at the time and didn't see the movie and 90% of what I heard by osmosis was about Loki - ppl talking about his reconciliation with thor, or shipping him with the grandmaster, or talking about his fight scene at the end, or about him ruling Asgard at the beginning. like they tried so hard and ye the dominated the convo.

His screen-time in every other MCU film averages up to the same minutes as Ragnarok (and I included the 1 minute in Endgame and 3:45 minutes in Infinity War) and I think that just adds to the comedy XD

1. Why I like them

Oh gosh, if I went into all the reasons i like Valkyrie it'd be an essay long post. But to sum up, I like that she's punchy and confident in herself. I love that she starts out as kind of a mess but still has this air of a regal warrior about her. I love that she can go toe to toe with Loki and Hulk, and that she can adapt to using new tech as well as swords.

2. Why I don't

This isn't a complaint of her so much as it is against the writers but I wish we got to see more about her in endgame. How she coped with basically ruling Asgard, how her friendship with Thor developed. If we're looking for character flaws i guess she doesn't seem too remorseful about her work on Sakaar but yknow that's kind of cherry picking

3. Favourite scene

Walking down that rainbow bridge, sword in hand, fireworks in the back. GOOSEBUMPS.

4. Favourite line

5. OTP

Low-key I used to ship her with an oc of mine (Tekran for any fans out there) but in canon I'd say Jane (as Thor), or maybe carol!

6. Head canon

Less of a head canon and more an expansion of canon but I bet she has a soft spot for hulk. Like she's not a huge hugger but with hulk, she'd make an exception. Maybe sometimes in Sakaar those two would sit by the big window together and watch the stars go by.

So I really don't see lokyrie as a potential ship. It's kind of a notp for me

She designs a new armour for the Valkyrie. It’s a mix between Illyrian leathers and the armour worn by the original Valkyries.

She makes fanart inspired by her favorite books. Nesta and Gwyn always ask her to write the spiciest scenes.

She and Cassian are really good friends.

She has an incredible fashion sense. She’s one of those people who could wear a trash bag and still look like a supermodel.

She’s tall. Shorter than Nesta, but a little taller than Gwyn.

This moodboard tells a story. Nesta is a ballet dancer, studying at the Opéra National the Paris. She moved to Paris after a bad breakup and found a new home in the city of Love. Reads poetry for the aesthetic but prefers romance novels. Hates macaroons but loves croissants.
