Tossing Around Ideas: Valkyrie Unit (BoL)

These are just ideas that I have been throwing around in my head and anyone in BoL has my permission to pick them apart and give suggestions. I was speaking to Vesp about this last night, but I don't know if it will be implemented or what will happen with it as I fully intend on Braysen starting it on her return. 

The Valkyrie Unit will be comprised of females only.

They must be Paladins / Battleclerics. (This means that even if your OOC class isn't Paladin and you play a Battlecleric, this is acceptable)

They will not be a detachment of the church, but they will work in tandem with it by protecting the Blessed and the Blessed Mothers. 

They must be faithful to the Light and no other. 

Valkyrie may be given permission to marry and have children, but all daughters born of Valkyrie will be forced to begin training the moment they can walk.

Any male born of Valkyrie will be given to the Royal Army when they are of age. 

Valkyrie must not let their marriage interfere with their duties. The unit and the duties therein always come first. 

Any Valkyrie who shirks their duties will be punished accordingly. (Punishments will be based off of severity of the situation. In some cases, the marriage will be made null and void and the Valkyrie separated until she is able to return to her duties -- Solitary Confinement coupled with advanced physical training and deprivation)

Valkyrie will be expected to advance through rigorous training as a warrior, healer and monastic. (Not a Monk in the WoW / MoP sense, but one where meditation, education, and intense physical training is included)

All Valkyrie will take a sworn oath to Madelynne and Madelynne only. They will be Her Majesty's elite fighting unit. 

The Valkyrie Unit is a life-long commitment. 

Valkyrie who die in battle are said to ascend to "Archangels" (name may be changed in the future) and become one with the Light. 

Those who do not die in battle are to be given honors, but cannot ascend. 

Valkyrie who leave the unit are considered "traitors" (as this would be a broken oath against Her Majesty) and are to be treated as such. 

That's what I've got floating in my head right now. I might flesh out details later. I dunno.
