He rarely fixed things himself, not being a very hands on learner. “Well, I noticed that this connection had been severed and I believe that tube is meant to transfer coolant to systems aside from the engine--that’s at a glance,” he admitted, standing back to let her examine the area he had pointed out.

“oh, my darlin’,” doc drawled. “you can have as many kisses as you want,” he said with a small smile. “the more the merrier, just like they say,” he mumbled, chuckling softly with a cough. he was fading fast tonight into sleep after the exertion at the o.k. corral. he knew wyatt would want to go out again tomorrow, but he had no idea if he’d even make it  through the night with how poorly he felt.

Goose is caught off guard by the question. Mostly because Mav is his best friend but the pilot can be a tad bit annoying with as much as he breaks the rules. Sometimes Goose wants just a simple flight mission and nothing more. He rarely gets that though.

But he shrugs glancing over at Slider to answer her question, a smile on his face because Goose rarely tries to take things seriously. "Can't be as bad as being Iceman's. Right?"

Johnnie looked at Mal, eyes wide and impassioned, “Imagine if you SUNG this. It’d play on radios everywhere. Everyone could hear your passion and there’s got to be someone out there who needs to hear your message, someone who feels just like you and is looking for that last bit of hope.”

okay but for real, nine times out of ten, yes. but if he found someone who he had actually fallen in love with (see this post), then no, i don't believe he would. but he never had that, so...........................

Foxy grinned and took a sip of her tea. “Well, it’s certainly more constructive than using that skill to sneak into clubs underage.” Yet she wouldn’t have even managed to become so adaptable if it weren’t for that period of her life. “You ever considered joining the bureau?”
