So heres the dish: all of the staff will be going to Neuqua for ALICE (aka active shooter) training on this Friday, which is a day off for students. While this is a step up, some teachers have already chosen to not tell their students about the steps that should be taken in the event of a threat. Also, are we going to do anything to stop students from bringing weapons? What if they don’t tell anyone- there are no metal detectors at the entrances. No one checks IDs. We are all sitting ducks. Hopefully we can make it through another year with out any “incidents”

WW South gets a kick out of victory vs. Metea Valley

Wheaton Warrenville South defeated Metea Valley in a nonconference football game that featured 8 Tigers field goals.

Now, I may not be a football expert, but I do believe that you have to at least score to win. Maybe they’ll win on Friday when they have the day off to “rest”. It looks like another near winless season.
