In high school gym there was a test to see if you could do a handstand and I uh, suck at them but I could manage it for a second before falling over backwards, and then tucking into a roll so I wouldn’t die, and I was really embarrassed that I was so fucking weak but it actually got me extra credit, which is, to this day, one of the funniest, most bullshit things I’ve ever been able to fake my way through

Don't feel bad, you helped them as much as you could, and you did it on two hours of sleep which is fucking badass *hug* you did a good thing

I managed like another hour of sleep and got my bro to school, came back and helped them get breakfast. They’re in their grandparent’s house till red cross puts them in a hotel for the repairs being done.  Mom wants me to do things and i don’t really remember what and i’m mad at myself for it because i feel like if i stayed up id remember, but if i did i wouldn’t have managed to get my bro to school because i was using all my brainpower not to crash. It’s a literal blizzard outside, they were having to use a bulldozer to remove the snow piled in the middle of the street into dump trucks. They usually leave it there but this year it was so bad you couldn’t drive without driving in the parking lanes.  But visibility is so bad you can’t really see so people kept almost hitting the dumptruck and the bulldozer. The whole town was ice and packed snow. 

the surrounding districts are out of ambulances and like, the girls were coughing and idk if it was from being sick or smoke and their family can’t afford a hospital stay that isn’t their dad because the department [and thus the government] pays for that. Mom said they were OK but there could be some things cropping up and i worry.

Even if i did good, i don’t know if i did a good enough thing.

Probably recovery, my mum had extensive surgery a few years ago, and sleeping most of every other day happened to her too
