Cause like, I don't want to say I'm NOT a baby bat, and then get hit with stones by elder goths, or just more seasoned goths in general. But I also don't want to say I AM a baby bat and get patronized
And also, it's not like I'm NEW to the subculture either, yk? I was raised alternative, but I never really looked into the specifics until like 7th grade? I've done my fair share of research into the goth subculture, but like, when is it enough, y'know?
