Thought it might be fun to draw Lucy and Grampa Vlad together. One proud chaotic ball of monster mischief teaching the other. I like the idea of him teaching her how to possess things (something we only ever see HIM do) and also...we get the idea Vlad never really had this opportunity with his first grandkid Mavis and of course there's the whole HT2 deal with Dennis. This kid has Ericka's mischievious chaotic energy and zeal for monstery things and Drac's pride in his monstrosity, So I wanted to let him have a proud grampa moment with his grandkid.
Not to mention...kind of a happier parallel to both he and Drac's relationship, he and Dennis' relationship, AND Ericka and Van Helsing's relationship too.
