Slowly, she turned her eyes away from her painting. What would her painting be this evening? A horrible execution of her enemies? A virgin doused in freezing water and flung out into the cold to bear against the weather? What would it be tonight? for now, she set down her easel and faced the intruder. "As I informed my guards, I was not to be disturbed, but it appears you are not one for manners. What is your name?"
sigh
"Here’s an idea: why don’t you fuck off and be a kleptomaniac elsewhere?”

Never Invite a Vampire Into Your Home || Vampiier
By 1872 the myth of Vampires was something adults and others loved to talk about because it was interesting to them. Who isn't intrigued by the idea of immortality or a monster that lives off of human blood? Who wasn't excited by the idea of murdering such a horrid creature? The most terrifying plans were always discussed in the event that a vampire was met, but they were never carried out. Vampires weren't too different from humans. They were wise and knew not to let their secret out by being stupid.
It was February, just the second month into the year and Mother's plan was already in motion. Mircalla Karnstein, a young woman who goes by the name Carmilla now, was in a carriage alone. Her fingers nervously picked at a thread on her dress. She's done this so many times and yet she still felt anxious every single time. Her job was to be the victim in a carriage accident and beg for hospitality from the nearest mansion. While there Carmilla would befriend the virgin girl to the point where they were inseparable and then taken to her Mother.
What happens then is unknown to Carmilla. All she knows is that she's a pawn in Mother's game of chest. She was given a second chance at life and just as easily it was given, it could easily be taken away.
Her dark eyes flicker up to the window of the carriage. They were close enough to the mansion of this family where the carriage wreck would be heard. A light knock was made by the driver- one of Mother's workers. He was in on this plan. A deep breath was taken in and Carmilla prepared herself for what was to come.
Not even a minute later the carriage was completely flipped. The horses were detached just in time so they wouldn't get hurt. Carmilla on the other hand had to experience the carriage wreck as naturally as possible. Her body had jolted around inside, to the point where there were cuts on her face and arms. Bruises were guaranteed to appear in a few hours.
The commotion was certainly loud enough to alert nearby servants or maids in the mansion. The sneaky vampire was already in position. She had her body limp in the carriage that was on it's side. As a vampire she had a faint pulse so if someone were to check on her they'd assume she needs help as soon as possible. Now all she had to do was wait. Wait for her victim to arrive and carry out the plan from there.
