1, 2, and 3 for Messy Polycule Echo!
Thank you!!!! Yes! Vampire hours!!! I love to talk about them Always! (ask game!)
1. Can they sing? Under what circumstances will they sing in front of other people?
Yes they can! Vampire voices are a lot more elastic than humans but I’ve always been on the fence about whether that makes it easier to sing nicely or actually harder to not accidentally make noises that break people’s eardrums.
Echo usually only sings when they’re alone or they’re in caregiver mode: when Lestat was catatonic post-band, they would sing while brushing his hair. They’ve been cg to Armand and will sing while putting him in the bath or to bed. It’s something they associate with careful attention, and they don’t do it often. They’ll hum along to music absent-mindedly though!
2. Can they draw? Do they doodle on paper if it’s in front of them? What do they doodle or draw most often?
Yes they can! My headcanon is that vampires are very good at replicating but not usually able to engage in truly creative processes; so Echo’s art has two modes, stick figures and intense realism.
Echo usually draws their loved ones: Gabrielle, Lestat, the faces of the covens they have stayed with in the past.
3. Do they have any pets? When they were young, did their family have pets? Do they want one?
Well, if you count Daniel…. But no, the coven doesn’t currently keep pets. Who knows what might happen in the future!
Echo had a family cat growing up. They were fond of him and missed him while they were at university in the States. They never checked up on him or their parents after becoming a vampire.
They have no desire for pet ownership at the moment. Again, with the occasional exception of Daniel playing puppy.
