This one is inspired by the werewolf Carlos with the hat and the bloody vampire Lando ones.
It actually mostly just lives in my head, so this is just what I have in mind so far (and I am very curious to hear what you have had in mind and how things might be made to fit)
Basically the police has a department for paranormal stuff. They either do their own investigating or work with other departments if needed.
Carlos works there together with Max. And also George, who is actually a lawyer but kinda part of the team still.
No one knows that Carlos is a werewolf, a born one. He wouldn't be fired for it or anything, but he doesn't want the stigma it still carries and just not having to deal with all that.
One day he notices scratches on George's arm and finds out that Alex, George's boyfriend was recently bitten and struggles with control. He offers to help once he batches George up. First time he tells anyone that he isn’t human.
He meets Lando on the job. Going in first into a house they have gotten a call about.
He finds Lando chained up in the basement, covered in dried blood and nearly delirious from being kept away from blood for way too long by some lunatic who thinks to 'save' the lost souls of vampires.
It turns messy, because before Carlos can get Lando out, the guy comes back and he doesn't manage to hold Lando back when he lungs at him and tears the guy apart.
Carlos tries to pull Lando off, even lets the wolf come out a bit (glowy eyes, fangs and claws visible for a moment), but it's too late.
Which sucks for the investigation because they need to know if the guy worked alone or not and how many vampires suffered like Lando.
Lando ends up in police custody and gets treated for his malnourishment and dehydration.
The paranormal team questions him later about the whole thing and he offers to help, because he messed shit up for them by attacking the guy.
Max and Carlos take him to the morgue so he can look at the memories of the guy through drinking his blood.
Max heads off as soon as he tells them what he saw and Carlos is tasked with taking Lando back to his little secure hospital room.
One the way Lando lets Carlos know that he saw that he's a werewolf, which has Carlos panicking and Lando curious why he hides it.
I don’t really have more other than there will be some gory smut with these two.
