“Did you get beaten up again?” Nancy asked and reached up to the wound. She could smell the blood. It drove her crazy to be able to smell it and not be able to do something. It took everything in her not to bring her fingers to her lips so that she could taste the blood.

Nancy hadn’t wanted people to know. Although the lack of eating anything was probably going noticed, and her staying inside for a lot of the time. She’d barely left the basement of her parent’s house. She hadn’t wanted to see anyone, and she knew that it was going to start looking suspicious.
Her eyes flickered up to the door when she heard it open, a deep growl rooted in her throat. The last thing that she wanted to do was for Holly to have walked in and for her to attack her sister.
