I carried a heavy box in my arms, struggling against the weight of the heavy records as I brought them to the front of the store.
"I've got it." I heard a voice as the weight of the box lifted from my hands.
"Oh, thank you." I smiled at the man.
"Where do you want these?" He threw a catlike smile at me.
"On that table right there would be great." I said as I walked with him to the table.
"Do they usually make you carry these on your own?" He asked as he set the box down.
"Usually I have more workers." I gestured to the almost empty record store I owned, "I think I'm too easy on them."
"You're too nice." He said, it sounded more like a statement than a question.
"More like a push over." I let out a chuckle.
"Oh I don't believe that." He smirked.
"You don't know me." I crossed my arms, tilting my head slightly to the right.
"You're right. I'm Sebastian." He smiled, holding his hand out.
"Y/n." I smiled back, shaking his hand. His hand felt cold in mine, sudden images flashed in my head, thick dark red liquid flowing, blood. I quickly jerked my hand away from his. I quickly looked back at his face, he gave me a questioning look and I realized how I must have looked.
"I'm sorry." I shook my head and pushed my hair out of my face, "I don't know what that was." I laughed awkwardly to myself.
"It's alright." He chuckled, "Are there any more boxes you need help with?"
"Actually yeah." I tried to brush off what had happened.
He helped me with several more boxes, following me around as I placed them in alphabetical order around the small store.
"So a record store?" Sebastian said from my right as he flipped through several albums as I made new labels.
"Yeah," I smiled to myself as I stuck the label on a divider, "My dad got me into old records since I was little."
"Your dad?" Sebastian asked.
"Yeah. What about you? Big fan of vinyl?" I looked up at him
"The older the better." He turned to look at me and smiled.
"You like the oldies?" I asked, looking back down at the labeler.
"You could say I'm an old soul." He smiled as if I was missing the joke.
"Not to many of those anymore." I rubbed my nose.
"You'd be surprised." He said.
"Would I?" I asked as I placed another label.
"You would." He said as I felt him move closer to me.
"You sound so sure." I quickly looked away from his blue eyes, took he small label machine in my hands and walked away from him. I walked around the counter and slipped the machine in one of the cabinets underneath the counter.
"You know it's almost closing time." I said to him as I stood back up.
"Alright, I can take a hint." He smirked at me.
"No, it seriously is." I chuckled.
"Can I at least get your number?" He asked, unlocking his phone and handing it to me.
I took it without saying a word and typed in my information.
"Does that mean I'm welcome to come back?" He continued to smile.
"Well, it is a store." I said as I took the money from the register to lock up.
"So you do want me to come back." He smiled widely.
"That's not what I said."
"I'll see you around then." He smiled as he pushed one of the glass doors open with his back.

I found myself thinking about him the next day. I couldn't get his smile out of my head. I tried to ignore the bad feeling in my gut. That feeling that told me to stay away from him. What could I possibly have to fear? Sure I've had my share of heart break. But I couldn't be afraid of it forever. I glanced up at a few customers in the store, a blonde haired man quickly looked away from me and picked up a record from the shelf. I brushed off his strange behavior and got lost in my thoughts.
Two days... Three days... Four days... I told myself to forget about him as I flipped through a book, when the bell rang and the door was pushed open.
"Hi." I heard a familiar voice.
I looked up from the pages of my book and was greeted with a familiar pair of blue eyes.
"Hi." I breathed.
"You didn't miss me too much, did you?" Sebastian smiled, leaning casually against the counter.
"Don't flatter yourself." I rolled my eyes and heard him laugh, "So what brings you by?"
"I was in the neighborhood." He said.
"That's the best you can come up with?" I snorted.
"Honestly?" He paused, "I wanted to see you."
"You wanted to see me?" I repeated.
"Would you like to go out sometime?" Sebastian threw a side smile at me.
"What do you have in mind?" I asked.
"Dinner?" He continued to smile.
"Sure." I smiled as his phone started ringing. He pulled it out of his pocket and checked the name.
"Sorry, I have to get this." He walked down one of the aisles before I could answer him. I watched him frown, running his hand through his hair, and rubbing his face with his hand. I went back to my book, trying not to look so nosey. He approached the counter, shoving his phone back in his pocket.
"I'm sorry," he apologized, "Something came up that needs my attention."
"Of course, I understand." I tried to assure him, he sounded so sincere, and so worried. Obviously it was important.
"I'll pick you up after work tomorrow?" He asked.
"Of course." I smiled, his face lit up as soon as I agreed.
"Until tomorrow then." He smiled.

I slipped the key into the double glass doors, it was my turn to close up. I turned the key and pulled it out, tossing the keys hastily into the bag that hung on my shoulder. I turned on my heels to the cold brisk air, pulling my jacket shut across my stomach.
I listened to my footsteps as I walked across the empty dark parking lot to my car. I swung my bag from my shoulder to my hands and started searching for my car keys, pushing my work keys to the side. I could have sworn I felt someone watching me, I quickly glanced around behind me, nothing. I felt the hair on the back of my neck stand on end. I sighed in relief as I wrapped my fingers around the small car remote, pressing the button and unlocking my car. I took a step back, yanked the door open, and bumped into something. I gasped as I lost my balance and felt a hand on my elbow.
"I'm sorry." I heard a man's deep voice, "I didn't mean to startle you."
I looked up to meet the blue eyes of the same blonde man smiling down at me.
"You almost have me a heart attack." I breathed, moving my elbow away from his grasp, and my heart pounding out of my chest.
"I'm so sorry." He repeated with that horrible smile of his, "I was just wondering if you could help me out."
"Um," I bit my lip, every part of me screaming at me to get away from him, "I'm actually in a hurry." I spoke as polite as I could, hoping to hide my fear.
"Don't be scared." He spoke softly, "It'll be over soon."
I tried to move quickly, trying to get in my car, but he was faster. I felt the ground disappear from under my feet. His hands pinned my shoulders against my car. I could have sworn I saw his teeth grow into fangs. I tried desperately to push him away without luck. He leaned into me, his fangs fully exposed.
"No!" I screamed as I desperately tried to get away.
