Fun Facts About Ethan

Ethan is actually only half vampire, his mother is a full-fledged vampire but his father isn’t. He does share some of the more notable vampire qualities (flight, turning into a bat, no reflection, being physically harmed by the sun, distracted by counting, etc.) but he’s also different in the following ways:

Ethan isn’t exactly nocturnal. He can be up during the day and only requires half as much sleep as the average Toon to function 

He’s never tasted blood and also doesn’t crave it instinctually. However, his body does need to consume something akin to blood to survive, so he lives on a steady diet of red meat, sugar and watery produce

He thinks he can hypnotize people, but let him try it on you and nothing will happen

Getting bitten by Ethan will do absolutely nothing to you either. It might get really gross and infected but you won’t turn into the undead or anything like that.

Since his dad is a giant spider he also has some spider powers like wall climbing and web spinning. He likes to knit with his own spider silk.

He’s not immortal, but he is ageless. He’ll continue to live as long as something doesn’t come around and try to kill him.

On top of that, garlic, holy water, wood stakes, et c. won’t hurt him enough to kill him immediately but they will hurt.

(Not a vampire thing but still an important fact) His family is mostly Hungarian and he sometimes slips and speaks snippets of the language while talking, he also likes to give people Hungarian nicknames.

His nickname for Jessie is “Kiskacsa”.
