Stan’s easy smile lasted until the vampires rounded the corner, and then he half-collapsed in his seat, looking bewildered. “What the fuck was that, Ford?!”

“I don’t know!” Ford hissed, gesturing wildly. “She just came up to me, started saying we were both vampires!”

“And you didn’t correct her?!”

“You wanna tell a vampire they just told a huge secret to a human?!” Ford asked.

“Maybe they’re just crazy,” Stan said, but he didn’t really look like he believed it. “I mean, people have believed crazier things. Maybe they saw too many movies or got to into goth fashion or something and-”

“Stanley,” Ford said seriously. “We’re dealing with vampires. And that's it. Plain and simple. I don't want to hear anything about ‘I don't believe in vampires,’ because I don't believe in vampires, but I believe in my own two eyes, and what I saw, is vampires. Now, do we all agree that what we are dealing with is vampires?”

Stan frowned, looking annoyed. “I guess so. Why’d she think you were a vampire?”

“I don’t know,” Ford groaned. “I didn’t ask. What if it was something obvious to a vampire but not to a human? I might have blown my cover. Where were you?!”

“I told you before, bathroom.”

“The whole time?!”

“It turned into a number two, and that’s a whole production,” Stan said. “Also, don’t go in there for a while.”

“Stop telling me about what you do in the bathroom,” Ford pleaded. 

“You asked,” Stan shrugged. “Well, congratulations, Poindexter. You survived a vampire encounter by accidentally pretending to be one. At least we can put this behind us, huh?”

Ford said nothing.

Stan frowned. “...right?”

“...well,” Ford said, glancing at Carmilla’s phone number.

Stan groaned. “Please tell me you aren’t thinking about going to a vampire party.”

“We were invited,” Ford said.

"Uh, you were invited.”

“Carmilla and Laura made it very clear that you would be safe,” Ford said.

“Because they think you’re a vampire!” Stan said. “If they find out you’re full of yummy blood, who knows what they’ll do!”

“Whatever I did out here convinced them that I was one of them,” Ford said. “And I wasn’t even trying that hard. I just need a suitable backstory that we can agree on…Stanley, think of the research opportunities!”

“Counterpoint,” Stan said. “Think of how nice it is to have all your blood in one place. Plus, you can’t ask them questions or it’ll give away that you’re not one of them.”

“So I’ll have to be subtle about it,” Ford said. “That’s alright. I can be subtle. Stop making that face.”

your back comes into contact with the rough bark of the tall pine tree, and it rubs against your skin while joshua’s knee slots between your thighs. moonlight splashes through the forest canopy; it cuts across his dark, scarlet eyes. his hand brushes down your cheek before tucking the hair behind your ear.

“you want it, baby?” he purrs. he runs his tongue along his pointed fangs, and dampness coats your underwear. in mere minutes those teeth sink into the soft side of your neck, accompanied by a lightheaded, tingling sensation. “you taste so good,” joshua then hums, your blood dripping thickly from his lips.

so vampire!Ash...he jokes about the blood, and then never takes the shot. to a vampire, pig's blood would be like a tease. it's close to human, but not human, so he'd just get crazy thirsty. and all three of his usual human donors are standing right there with him, looking too tempting once he gets in That Mood. so he just can't risk it. but the way he watches Luke gag over it makes him want to tease him later when he's feeding on his pretty throat.

YAAAAAAAS. Ugh!! They’re always pawing at him to turn them, cranky each time another birthday passes and they keep aging while Ash just stays the same, but Luke’s the most desperate for it, extra clingy when Ashton feeds, arching himself up into like he can make Ashton bite down harder, take more, take everything Luke has to give. 

“Can’t even handle pig’s blood, you think you could do this?” Ashton asks, his mouth pressed wet to Luke’s throat, pinning his restless body to the bed as Luke just whines and says he’ll do anything so long as Ashton doesn’t stop.
