@vampirmedic (who liked for a starter of Russell being a shapeshifter) Russell had decided that it was time to pay another visit to Sinnian and potentially Dark. He had left it for quite a while, completely by accident of course. He checked to make sure he didn't look different as he knocked on the door and waited for answer. He looked fully human, that was good.

Russell heard the familiar sounding voice and turned around. He felt a small smile creep across his lips. Despite that though, his shoulders still shook with nervous laughter, mainly out of guilt than anything else.

“Ehehe… Unless I’m mistaken, it’s because we already know each other, ehehe…” he said, rubbing at the back of his neck.

So I’m really enjoying Prizes, Plunder, and Adventure (reading on AO3) and left a review about how I love it. Eternally_Exhausted says that you made the basis of the story and that I should come tell you how much I love it too! Seeing that it’s based on a mermaid AU has me excited and the whole “royalty kidnapped by pirates” trope has me really excited. Y’all together have some magical writing! 21. Your character has been granted 3 wishes; what would they wish for and why?

First wish: For his mother to forget about him so she can just move on from hating him. If she doesn’t remember one of her own sons exists, how can be wrapped up in a grudge against him? It’s a way to bring both of them peace in the end. To him, that’s better than what he feels would be ‘forcing’ her to love him.Second wish: To have the exact amount of money he needs at the time to pay for something whenever he needs it. For example, he wants to pay for a class course, he’ll have the exact money he needs. He wants to treat a friend to a gift or pay some student’s college debt, he’ll have just what he needs to pay for it. To him, it would be more practical than just wishing for a million dollars or something like that because it would eventually just run out. Third wish: To know how to help any of his friends if they have a problem, any problem at all. He knows his friends have lives and burdens of their own. He always offers to listen, but he knows that’s not helpful. He wishes he could help, but he just doesn’t know how. He feels that having the knowledge would allow him to have the power to help. He lives to help his friends and just wants to see them happy. He feels that last wish could be a big step in that.

Russell firmly agrees with the idea that people should be treated with basic human decency, no matter who they are.

For example, he believes no one should be persecuted just for their race, gender, sexual orientation etc. He believes that as long as they’re happy and as long they’re not hurting someone, then they should be allowed to be who they are without fear or hatred.

Even if he doesn’t fully understand someone (e.g. He might not completely understand someone who is transgender for example)l he feels that he doesn’t have to understand completely. He just needs to respect them just as they would with him.
