So normally we feature great illustration on Saturday but when we saw Louis Minnaar's work we just had to feature it today.

This is a preview for one of the upcoming South African vampire movies (Eternity being the other). The video was released in three separate viral videos. In case you missed the previous two, here they are: Part 1 and part 2. The reason why I'm sharing this, is you might recognise some of the actors. The vampire is Francios Van Coke (from Van Coke Kartel and Fokofpolisikar). The vampire hunter is Inge Beckmann (Lark). The other 3 are Rob van Vuuren, Andre Roothman and Porteus Xandau.
I wouldn't hold my breath however, I think it'll be a long time before we see anything more than this footage. These videos are being used to crowd-source the funding. So if you are also very excited to see Afrikaans rock star vampires fighting with Inge Beckmann, then give them some moola. Fundraising starts in March.
Eternity is closer (and features Rikki Brest), but looks a bit like a lovechild of Blade and Twilight. Oh well, it'll still be interesting what with the accents and all.
