before meeting all his friends vance was really a loner, often looked at as the odd man out. the male couldn’t help who he was or how he looked at the world. music was the only thing that he could really express himself. after moving schools and linking up with the gang he truly felt like he had found somewhere he belonged. he wrote music with others who understood what it was like to feel invisible then there was kane. he honestly felt like he was way out of her league yet that didn’t stop him from showing his feelings for her. he felt like as long as he could make her smile then he had some chance. 24flocrs

 during his high school years vance would ditch class and hang out behind the bleachers with kane while she had p.e.  it was one of the times they actually had to be together, despite his over flirtatious ways and semi corny behavior the time he spent with kane was chill. he never really had to overthink much when it came to her. she made him feel this way no ones ever felt. he always wanted her to be herself with him. and for him to be himself with her.
