It's been so, so, so slippery slidey in my neighbourhood. The sidewalks are (mostly) fine but the alleyway entrances are mini ice rinks. I couldn't get any grip on them and almost slid into incoming traffic...
I just wanted to visit the library - a couple blocks away - and couldn't even do that!
Vancouver is le terrible with snow handling.
As a true AdventureCat, Fluffy doesn’t mind getting a little frost on her toes as she explores in the wee hours of a chilly morning. Of course, having a warm fireplace to return to makes it all the more worthwhile.

My feet are cold and damp.
Boots don't fit my calves, and my runners aren't exactly waterproof. They'll probably be dry by the end of the day, just when I have to go outside and walk 10 minutes to the bus stop in the rain.
