The party went on for hours and Ripp couldn't thank his husband enough for organizing it behind his back. It felt like being in college again and everyone forgot about their adult life problems, even if just for one night.

Only Lilith and Violet ended up throwing hands in the kitchen, putting Rick's "fine china" in danger. It seems like the two couldn't decide who is Rick's bestie and had to resolve it with violence.

Violet might've been sporty growing up, but Lilith had more experience with brawling defeated her way quicker than Violet would like to admit.

Thankfully, despite the incident in the kitchen and John's poor attempt at busting the party, it ended up going well and the Vandermorgans had to pack their friends into taxis in the middle of the night. After making sure everyone departed safely, they could finally enjoy what was left of their night.

With the week at the Vandermorgan's over, next one goes to the Caliente condo.

John showed up, ready to bust a loud party, because that's the only thing he's good at these days.

And yet he changed his mind before he even reached the front door. He got back into his car and drove away, pretending he doesn't hear the music and laughter from inside the house.

Thankfully, no one even noticed he was outside and everyone was too busy having drunk talks over Rick's pizza.

Johnny: I know Ripp isn't really my brother, but he always kinda was and now that you're married to him, you're like my brother-in-law, but also not...

Rick: Does that mean I have to be on your family reunions...?

Rick knew well that alcohol flows down smoother with some grease and fixed up a nice snack for the guests.

Ripp was too excited about having so many cool people in his house and reminded himself of the good old dorm days. The difference is now he actually had to worry about cleaning up the mess his friends make.

The whole party moved to Ripp's music room and soon the whole space was filled with "bubble" steam thanks to Lilith and Hal. It made Violet believe she was a rock star and she tried shredding it on Ripp's guitar.

To end the Sunday properly, decided to throw a little party and invite both his and Ripp's friends over for some beer, snacks and good music.

Coincidentally, Ripp brought Hal over from work as well.

He didn't expect to see all of his friends at home and no one was talking about babies and diapers this time. Ophelia might've been a little jealous seeing Ripp being close friends with Lilith. Or she just had one cup of beer too many.

Johnny definitely needed to slow down with the drinks.

On the last day of the week, Ripp woke up feeling even more flirty and loveable than usual. He was ready to bother his husband for the rest of the day, at least until he has to leave for work.

He really hoped he could achieve his dream before the end of the week, but just hyping himself up with music was enough to make his day better.

Rick needed to work on his creativity and figured there's no one better out there to help him with it, than his own husband. Ripp didn't expect he'd be able to tutor anyone, but happily showed Rick the ropes of making music.

Rick had a late shift, so the two managed to eat a quick dinner before he left. Ripp hated those work schedules and really didn't understand why criminals even have set work hours. His husband should just go steal things whenever he wants, right?

Ripp knew he was really close to finally reach the top and for the first time in his life, he genuinely wanted to just succeed and get that final promotion. Instead of napping on the couch for the rest of the evening, he tried working on his speeches for when he finally gets those music awards.

Rick also got his promotion later. He also decided to pick up even more groceries on his way home. Bold decision, considering he was still in his work attire and had to find a 24/7 store for that.

Since Ripp was still out, Rick distracted himself with some new games he bought. Good thing he at least remembered to put the groceries away.

Ripp might've worked rarely during the week, but when he did it was instant promotion. He was aiming for the top, even if he had to do things he had zero interest in on the way. Like conducting symphonies...

He was gone for just a few hours, but he still had to attack his husband with kisses as a greeting. He fully believed his friends didn't have marriage as good as he does.

On Saturday, Ripp was surprisingly back at work and since they needed to restock on groceries, Rick took a ride to the nearby store. He could very easily reach the place by foot from his house, but why bother when you have a nice car you can show off?

He got a little distracted at the video game shelf, but remembered why he was there in the first place and managed to grab the groceries in the end.

Part of him wanted to skedaddle with the items as a muscle memory from work, but he needed to maintain a good image in the neighbourhood and keep a low profile. He might've been a bad boy, but he still had some manners.

Although, he did try to pickpocket a visiting Strangetown politician in a broad daylight. She didn't realize it, but was smart enough to decline any sketchy offers from guys looking like Rick at a supermarket parking lot.
