Yesterday was my 2 year anniversary of living in my boo, El Gringo. It all started as a way to save a little cash but it quickly became something I needed to do for myself. I've made national parks and public lands my home. I've bathed in rivers and lakes. I've woken up to sea gulls gliding along beaches and Elk bulging for mates. I've spent nights in snow storms and bed sweated in the hot nights of the southwest. I've learned what is real in life, like friends and knowing yourself, and what can burden a man, like depression and not knowing yourself. I always say that I wish I had started this year's ago but the life found me just the right time and has made me a better person for it.. You can learn a little more of what I'm talking about by listening to the story I told at The Narrators show a few months back.
