Do you have any recommendations of films/books/etc where someone from the past or from a world other than our own is sort of amazed by the world/and doesn't know how modern technology works/customs/etc?
pretty much my #1 rec has to be sleepy hollow.
there's a reason i have an #ichabod crane vs. the twenty first century tag.
what are your favorite drinks? do you have a favorite kind of tea? any favorite desserts? if you could work on a project with anyone, living or dead, who would it be?
mountain dew (although i need to stooop), caramel ribbon fraps, kinky vodka, bailey's, LEMONADE IS MY KRYPTONITE
i like berry-flavoured teas
APPLE PIE. APPLE CRUMBLE. SHIT WITH APPLES AND SUGAR AND CRUMBLY BITS IN 'EM. also super moist (sorry mrs. lass) chocolate cake.
i would basically pay a lot of money to have hannahthebird fully illustrate one of my books; alas, i do not have the funds to properly compensate her. i'd also love to collab with daysandhours even though she's far above me in terms of talent. and as for writers, i would basically lay down and die if i got to just brainstorm ONCE with sir! terry pratchett. *sobs loudly*
I watched a cheesy abc family christmas movie last night, and matt keeslar was this dude who lived in a snowglobe and he followed the main girl back to her world/the city, and it was adorable!!!! he had no idea what a hot dog was and tried to relate everything to christmas
omg
that sounds stupidly adorable
lizznotliz, tell me you've seen this

oh my god uh
Selfies, first of all. Silent movies and silent movie stars. Harry Potter and horror movies (oh my god, Van Helsing, too) Stephen King. 60s girl groups and mod fashion. Soviet junk?
CONRAD VEIDT, MOSTLY.
well, Julia Hoffman :P uhm, Nancy Thompson? Maybe Phoenix?
8. Dr. Julia Hoffman, yes.
dude though where did you get phoenix because i can't ever remember talking about my 14 year old obsession haha - also nancy thompson <3 i feel terrible everyone is bringing up genuinely amazing characters and i'm looking at my list sideways rn
omfg reading your tags on the middleman post I made. I really really really want alt lacey/alt middleman fic. I think I have read every fanfic for this show just because I want it all. I want these characters forever and ever
on the one hand, i feel like i could never do them justice -- especially not as lizz could, who loves them so much and knows them so much better than i ever will.
but on the other, MY SOUL THIRSTS FOREVER FOR MM/LACEY.
