nozel
(twins, girl - acielle, boy - luciel)
this captain was bored beyond his wits, in all honesty, he’d rather be with you and the twins rather than be greeting nobles left and right
you were tending to your children by the back of the ballroom, a small smile adorning your features as the younger twin, acielle, was making grabby motions on your dress.
he could see you chuckling softly, as you pet her hair, smoothing out the crown of her silver locks.
nozel turned back to the noble who was bragging about a new deal that he honestly couldn't care less about, nodding in respect, pretending to listen in
but his eyes drift away to how his eldest son has bowed in front of you, reaching out for your hand before dragging you to the ballroom.
it was a rather funny sight, seeing as your eldest son could barely reach your chest as he swayed you around the floor, small laughter escaping your lips
his eyes drift toward acielle who was staring at the both of you with a pout on her face.
nozel immediately knew that his youngest wanted to dance as well.
he turned back to the noble who was still making everything about himself before giving a stiff nod and turning around, the chatter from the circle disintegrating as all eyes were on the royal’s back.
“hey, princess.” he greets, kneeling on one knee and looking at his daughter in the eyes. acielle pouts before greeting her father with a curt nod.
“are you okay?” nozel asks carefully, brushing her silver locks behind her ear. acielle shook her head, her pout staying in place as she looked at her father with a sad look in her eye.
“i wanted to dance with mommy, but luciel was being a meanie and beat me to it.” She sighed, watching as you and her brother were dancing happily.
nozel hummed, as if he was in thought before smiling softly at his daughter.
“may I have this dance, my lady?” nozel said, hand in front of his daughter. acielle’s eyes widened, the previously sad expression dissipating as a smile formed on her face. the youngest silva excitedly grabbed her father’s hand and dragged him to the dance floor as well.
seeing as acielle was too small to dance with properly, the captain scooped her up in his arms and spun her around, not caring about the whispers and the stares the other royals and nobles were giving him due to his uncharacteristic behavior.
all he cared about was that his daughter was happy.
after a while of dancing, you bumped into your husband who was staring at his daughter with adoration. nozel flicked his sight towards you, a small smile still on his face as he let Acielle down.
luciel let go of your hands, making his way to his sister before bowing his head, asking for a dance, acielle let out a small “hmp.” turning her head in defiance.
“come on, sister! mama is hard to dance with!” luciel said, shaking the outstretched hand in front of her. “so is daddy!” acielle replied, giggling as she took her brother’s hand, letting herself be pulled elsewhere as your children laughed happily.
“did my dancing skills just get insulted?” you tsked playfully, looking at you and nozel’s pride. “it appears that you are not up to his standard.” nozel chided in playfully, you glared at your husband in response.
“i do recall acielle saying that you were terrible as well.” you retorted, your husband scoffed, before stretching out his hand before you.
“may i have this dance, in order to prove you wrong?” nozel said, a small smirk on his face.
“how petty.” you rolled your eyes as you grabbed his hand, letting him lead you to the dance floor.
“you may.”
william:
(son - elliot)
william was doing rounds around the base
seeing as the rest of the members were out due to missions or leisurely errands, he wasn’t that hassled
now, going back to his office, he sighed as he realized the amount of paperwork that was waiting for him.
you were away from the base, relaying intel about a joint mission with the blue rose
william would have volunteered to go but seeing the paperwork, you only shook your head and went on his behalf
something that he has yet to thank you for
beside his office was a plain grass field that he sometimes looks out to due the serenity of the area.
sometimes he could see his squad members conducting their training
but when he looked over to the window, he saw his son with his hands hovering on the ground.
a look of confliction was plastered on his baby’s face.
“elliot?” william calls out as he approaches the seven year old who was still struggling with his hands hovering by the ground.
when elliot heard his father’s voice, he looked over with a shocked expression.
“papa!” the child said, his hands falling to his sides as he fiddled with his tunic
“what are you doing?” the captain asked gently, hands carding through his son’s (h/c) hair. a pout overtook his son’s features.
“i wanna grow a flower for mama… but I’m too weak and i can’t do it!” elliot said, lips trembling, tears forming in his eyes.
william’s eyes widened as he kneeled in front of his child, hands immediately cupping his son’s cheeks, thumbs wiping the underside of elliot’s lilac eyes.
“buddy, don’t say that” william reassured. “you have all the time to learn and grow, don’t rush it, okay?” he smiles at elliot then looks at the wilting stem.
“how about we do it again?” he asked gently, standing up and taking his son’s hand in his, placing it in a proper yet relaxed form. elliot nodded, eyes shutting in concentration as he let his young mana flow.
“relax, my son.” william softly says, watching carefully as the stressed out look on his son’s face dissipates into a calm expression, the mana flowing onto the ground and letting the seedling grow into a single flower.
elliot seemed to sense his success as he excitedly opened his eyes, a smile breaking out on his face.
“papa! I did it!” elliot excitedly tugged his father’s hand, william smiled in pride.
“i’m proud of you, my son.”
“what’s going on here?” both your boys’ eyes suddenly looking at you, elliot smiled giddily, running towards you and pulling you over to wear the newly grown flower. “mama!”
“i didn’t know you’re already back.” william said as you stood beside him, his hand snaking on your waist as he gave you a kiss on the forehead.
“i just got here” you say, closing your eyes at the feeling of your husband’s lips on your forehead.
“here, here!” Elliot plucked the flower that he grew, giving it to you with a toothy grin.
“it’s beautiful, baby.” you say, taking the flower from your son, pinching his little cheek afterwards.
william couldn’t help himself but smile at the scene in front of him. he never would’ve guessed that in his life he would be settled with you and your son. he could only look at you and elliot with all the love he could offer.
