@vanguarded
from the odd occasion, no matter how many times she would try to break herself from the bounds that her family name wrapped around her, she found herself still slipping back to that level of loneliness.
the way that her family became this boulder ... or at the very least, the constant pressure of having to be the best she could possibly be ... in her fathers eyes, it was never enough.
thus, she constantly find herself never any good for friends, family, romances ... unless they were in it for her surname ... she herself was never enough.
that was until she met him, a knight that saw her for more than her name, for more than her worth to the world. he saw beyond those shackles for the person she truly was, the person that her grandfather always wished for her to be.
that very thought was enough for one’s head to tilt to the ground, pastel painted lids fluttered close with the odd tear dripping to connect with the ground, painful memories that stacked upon one another the moment that her grandfather left this world ... he was the only one back then that seemed to bring a sense of joy to her.
with blurred, obscured vision now covered with white && silver bangs.
there was a connection to the bottom of her chin, a certain individuals fingertips that give a tilt back up of her head, lids give a widened look towards a familiar knight before her.
those same fingertips that that brushed up passed her cheek to bring those silver locks tucked behind the back of her ear, crystal blue eyes simply locking their vision upon him.
yes, it was him, it always was him. in that moment, she felt as though she was back in her youth again ... zero hesitation to simply bring her arms around his frame, to just stand their in the comforting presence he always seemed to have with her.
