JUST A LITTLE UPDATE… I SUPPOSE

I been absent as a result of heat exhaustion + heat stroke the last…. two weeks? It’s been so on and off. I was worried that it’s something severe but apparently it’s pretty common right now as our heat index typically doesn’t get this bad especially with our humidity in Chicago. I discovered a factor in making my condition worse had been caffeine ( which i’m a average drinker between coffee & energy drinks ) so I have to wean myself off that so I don’t faint. I didn’t mean to disappear but as it is right now - I haven’t been conscious much outside of working hours and keeping up with very few friends when I AM awake. Just figured I’d pop in and let you guys know what’s going on since I been quiet. Just… health issues. orz

      “Ah,  Rosario…I  fell  and  spilt  paint  everywhere  in  the  gallery!”  The  girl  whined  at  the  other,  while  tears  swelled  behind  her  eyes.  “What  do  I  do?  It’s  supposed  to  open  in  an  hour  and  it’s  a  mess!  Do  you  know  how  hard  it  is  to  clean  up  paint?  This  is  a  disaster,  a  catastrophe!”  She  was  hysterical,  a  worried  mess  and  it  didn’t  help  that  she  had  to  clean  off  the  paint  on  herself  as  well.  Brown  hues  looked  at  the  other  with  sad  eyes,  hoping  they  can  comfort  her  with  his  words.

              The sight of Marigold covered in paint was enough to cause him to worry, he was quick to scramble over to her side with his hands held out to her in offer of how to assist her in some way. ❛ Oh crap---- I’m glad I got here when I did but whoa...❜ Rosario knew how important gallery showings were, especially just before opening. He hadn’t much experience in preparing work for these situations but what he knew how to do quickly was CLEAN. Taking a deep breath, he shifted a lighter layer off his body to hand to Marigold. ❛ I’m really fast when it comes to picking up messes or... spills, I can clean this up for you while you tidy yourself up, okay? You can change into this since your shirt got dirty... when you come back, you can help me finish the place before we open. Where’s the cleaning supplies....? ❜

Louise Santos here is a revenant, an undead immortal brought back by a deity to avenge her death by the hands of an abusive lover. The tale of revenants typically stop at their righteous vengeance but that was not the case for Louise, she has so much anger ( which is justified ) for the unjust actions that take place on women and children, serving as a type of vigilante.
