That is a really good idea, it is better to be safe than sorry. Do you have any poc friends or artistic acquaintances that you could ask about it too?

Not at this point, no. It’s specifically a question about depicting a character who chooses to wear the hijab, and (as far as I know) I’m not on good enough terms with anyone who does to be asking questions.
