Oil for frying. 1/2 cup heavy cream. 2 tbsp powdered sugar. 1/2 tsp vanilla bean paste. Powdered sugar for dusting.
Instructions: In a mixing bowl, combine flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, whisk together milk, sour cream, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients and stir until well combined to form a dough. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 1/2-inch thickness and cut out doughnuts using a doughnut cutter. Heat oil in a deep fryer or large skillet to 350F 175C. Fry doughnuts until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove doughnuts from the oil and place them on paper towels to drain and cool. Juice of 1 lemon. 1/2 teaspoon baking soda. A pinch of salt. For the filling:. 1 cup coconut cream from a can of full-fat coconut milk. 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Additional lemon zest for garnish.
Instructions: Preheat your oven to 350F 175C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, coconut flour, honey or maple syrup, melted coconut oil, vanilla extract, lemon zest, lemon juice, baking soda, and a pinch of salt. Mix until a dough forms. Roll the dough into a ball and place it between two sheets of parchment paper. Roll it out to about 1/4-inch thickness.
