How episode 8 ended for the VanillaFusion!AU

A lil bit of writing below the cut.

"It's okay.. I'm right here."

". . ." The jester hardly said anything as bit by bit, the light from the other-realm began to eat away at his form. It didn't hurt, but.. it tickled.

"You don't need to say anything. Just let it happen." Pure Vanilla Cookie spoke in soothing tones. He could feel what was happening. The light was reshaping Shadow Milk cookie's icing and toppings right in front of him.

But he could also feel them shaking in his arms. Was he scared? Angry? Crying?

He could tell, the connection between them told all to him. Their souls hummed in tandem, their soul jams were resonating louder and louder.

Shadow Milk Cookie was scared.

'What would happen to them now.' 'Would they lose their connection?' 'Would their souls and mind no longer be one?' 'Would.. they lose the ability to fuse together?'

The questions swirled in the Jester's mind as he felt more and more of his body change. His dough, long since mixed together with Pure Vanilla Cookie.. was feeling lighter by the second.

'Would he.. be alone?'

"No..." Pure Vanilla Cookie whispered, his hand gently petting the top of Shadow Milk Cookie's head.

"We're meant to be together, and together.. forever, we shall stay." The shaking ceased, and he could tell the other closed their eyes as the light from their merged Other-realm consumed them both.

And it was beautiful.

Good evening/morning/afternoon folks~

Here's a dose of more little info bits for the VanillaFusion!AU. This one focusing on Post-episode 8.

Both Blueberry Yogurt and Pure Vanilla suffer from having a sense of 'split' personas. Shadow Milk and Truthless Recluse still 'Exist' as Dark Sides to the two cookies. This is due to the fact that where Truth exists, so must Deceit. This is what allows them to also still become Blueberry Parfait.

Their 'Motes of Darkness' as they lovingly call them, are often contempt with remaining in their shared Mindspace and Soul in peace. But can be coaxed out with extremely strong, negative emotions.

As such, if either take control, expect havoc. As even while 'redeemed' Shadow Milk will not hesitate to go back to his old tricks if someone gets on his bad side. All 'purifying' did, was revitalize the last vestiges of his old self/sanity to be able to take the wheel once again.

Truthless Recluse is equally as vicious as Shadow Milk Cookie. And there's a high risk of both choosing to fuse into Blueberry Parfait if both are out at the same time. (A higher chance if there's some cookie or some threat that is greatly annoying them to deal with it quickly.)

Pure Vanilla has vowed to always be there incase Shadow Milk/Blueberry Yogurt shows signs of regression.

As such, Pure Vanilla has ensured that they work on mastering the Other-Realm they now share with Blueberry Yogurt/Shadow Milk to ensure darkness does not over take it again.

(Referencing the image above) If they find themselves slipping, Blueberry Yogurt/Shadow Milk will retreat into the Other-Realm, where Pure Vanilla will find and comfort them. Often by taking a much larger form to do so.

(Side fact) Truthless Recluse hates waking up early, and this shows through into Pure Vanilla after Episode 8. As he will often become bitter, annoyed, or angry if woken too early.

Thinking of making a Lore post for my VanillaFusion!AU.. And a timeline of events cause.. hoo boi there's so much.

Till then,. I'm redesigning Blueberry Yogurt Cookie (AKA the name he takes after Shadow Milk becomes purified due to Pure Vanilla's Awakening~) And a current WIP for said Fusion AU lore post~
