Random for tmi Tuesday: Adler hawke turn ons and turn offs? (I don't know any of ur ocs I'm sorry omg)
Adler’s a sucker for a good voice. A strong voice. She doesn’t mind a little authority - and Sebastian doesn’t mind telling her what to do in the bedroom.

The one in the 4th spot was “Seemingly Unrequited Pining”, but that goes part and parcel with ‘Fake Dating’ AND ‘Friends to Lovers’ imo, so I don’t think it really counts.
So I wrote for this prompt already, but it was a good set up for an idea I’d had the other day. So getting it prompted again is the PERFECT way to finish it out!
Part One l Part Two
“So,” Aveline drawled, “how doesit feel to finally be back in Kirkwall?”
Varric took a pull of his ale andpropped his feet on his desk while he thought. “About like Iexpected,” he finally said. “Strange, but good.”
“Well, it’s good to have you back.I’m glad you sent word.” Aveline toasted him with her own mug ofale. “Hopefully next time we can get more of the group together.”
“Assuming Raivani decides to comeback?” He laughed, wondering how Daisy’s first voyage was going. Hewas sure it would make a hell of a story.
Aveline tsk’d at him. “Isabela willcome back. She always does. Besides, she knows I’ll put out a priceon her head if she doesn’t.”
Varric cackled at that. “You’vegotten ruthless, Aveline.”
“Just protective of what I careabout.” She paused, eyes shrewd as she looked at him. “Was itdifficult?”
“What? Saving the world?” He gaveher a slow smile. “Nah, it was surprisingly easy.”
She rolled her eyes. “I meantleaving. In your letters it sounded like you’d gotten comfortablethere, and goodbyes are never easy.”
“No. They’re not.” He tried not tothink about his last day there. He tried not think about Cassandra, how soft her lips were when she kissed his cheek, how warm her breathhad been against his skin. If she had asked to him stay, he wouldhave. Without hesitation. That realization had rocked him to hiscore, and hadn’t been far from his mind his entire journey back toKirkwall.
But she hadn’t asked, and he hadn’toffered. They were friends at best. Nothing more.
“Are you all right?” Aveline asked, breaking through his melancholy thoughts.
“Just tired, it was a long trip.”
She nodded and drained her cup, risingfrom her chair. “I’ll let you get some rest. Fenris will be back intown within a couple days, and Isabela’s ship is scheduled to returnin a fortnight. Then we can all welcome you home properly.”
“By getting me shitfaced and stealingmy smalls?”
“That was one time, Varric. Besides,it was Hawke’s idea.”
“Sure, sure.”
Aveline laughed softly and clapped ahand on his shoulder. “It is good to see you again, Varric.”
“Same here, Aveline.”
She smiled at him and slipped out thedoor, leaving him alone with his thoughts. He should sleep, the ideaof resting his own damn bed was a glorious one. Yet, he couldn’tbring himself to settle down for the night.
So he refilled his cup with the last ofthe ale in the jug, and decided to write to Hawke. The least he coulddo was let her know he was alive and well and back in Kirkwall. Maybehe would try to visit her one day, he doubted she’d return toKirkwall ever again. Not when Blondie was a wanted man.
He also thought maybe he would sendword to Skyhold, let them know he had made it safely. The Inquisitorwould like to know, had said as much before he left. Maybe… nah, better not to dwell on whether or not anyone else would care.
And so Varric wrote his letters lateinto the night, and sent them out in the morning. He would not get areply, not for several days at least, and so he went back to his deskto sort everything that had been forgotten in his absence.
* * *
Not even home for twenty-four hours andhe was already elbow deep in paperwork. Andraste’s dimpled ass, buthe hated paperwork.
He wagered it must be close to dinnertime when one of the serving maids slipped into the room. He glancedup, a thank you ready, but noticed that her hands were empty. Insteadhe lifted his brows in question.
“There’s some here to see you.”
“Fenris?”
“No.” She paused, a strange look onher face. “It’s a woman.”
It couldn’t be Hawke. There was nofucking way. Scooting back his chair, Varric hurried into the mainroom of the Hanged Man. It was quiet, only a few regulars pepperingvarious tables, and a figure lurking by the door.
Their back is turned, the hood of theirtravel-stained cloak was up, obscuring their face. There was arestlessness to their pacing, a jitteriness to the way their glovedhand taps against against their side. For a moment Varric thought itmight be Hawke, but then the figure turned and he caught a glimpse ofa familiar scar.
“Cass–” he started, but caughthimself. He could count the number of times he’d called her by nameon one hand. It was special, he thought, and not his to use. Notreally. “Seeker, what are you doing here? Is there a problem, theInquisitor send you?”
There couldn’t be trouble, some otherawful, detestable thing that they needed to take care of. He wouldhave heard about it, wouldn’t he have? Word traveled fast, as thesaying went. Crows traveled fast too. Faster than a Seeker at anyrate.
She pushed back her hood, revealing apale face and pinched eyes and shook her head. He wasn’t entirelyconvinced, given the look on her face, but he knew she wouldn’t lie.Not about Inquisition business.
“Don’t tell me you missed mealready?” he drawled, hoping it would alleviate the tension in hershoulders. Lighten the mood.
Unfortunately it appeared to be theexact wrong thing to say.
Cassandra looked stricken at his words, breath hissing out through her nose. Glancing away, she shook herhead again, dismissive.
“I shouldn’t… I’m a fool…” Thewords were soft, barely above a whisper, but Varric heard themclearly as if she had shouted them.
“Whoa, hey.” He reached out, caughther hand before she could flee. “Come on.”
Every eye in the place was on them, heknew it without looking. So he started pulling her back to hisprivate room, away from prying eyes.
“Next round is on me!” he calledbefore disappearing up the steps. That would surely give themsomething else to talk about, at least for a short while. He closedhis door on the raucous cheers from the regulars and turned to lookat Cassandra.
“So…?” he prompted when shedidn’t speak, instead pacing before the fireplace.
She stopped pacing and looked up, hergaze falling on his bed in the corner. She glanced toward him withwide eyes.
“These are your quarters.” Itwasn’t a question.
“Right. Now out with it, Seeker. Whatare you doing here?”
The fact she was nervous was clear asday, it was just such a strange thing to see on her. He’d seen herreluctant, hesitant maybe. But never nervous.
She looked at him, and despite all hernerves her gaze was steady. Varric found a strange hope blooming inhis chest, one he hadn’t felt in….well, ever. Not like this. Shepressed her lips together and lowered her head, she wanted to saysomething. Wanted to say more. But he knew she couldn’t find thewords.
So he decided to help her out. Offerher what he had wished for when he left Skyhold.
“Cassandra?” Her head snapped up atthat, eyes questioning. Varric swallowed, his own nerves starting toget the better of him. “Would you like to stay?”
Five simple words, spoken with alightness he didn’t feel. Five words that held a whole lot more thanjust a place to get something hot to eat, or rest for the night.
The smile that bloomed on her face wasthe most brilliant and beautiful thing he had ever seen in his life.
SOMEONE BEAT ME LETS TRY AGAIN... Gymnophoria with cassarric then? ;w;
Gymnophoria - The sensation that someone is mentally undressing you.
Send me a word and a character/ship and I will write a drabble.
It started with a prickling sensation on the back of his neck, like he was being watched. Which, in all honesty, he was part of the Inquisitor’s group at a rural tavern in Orlais, it was highly possible the locals were staring.
But as his gaze covertly took in the taproom, he realized no one was staring. At least not at him, the Inquisitor though? Well, there was plenty of attention directed that way.
It wasn’t until he met Cassandra’s gaze across the room, that he realized she was the one who had been staring. Her gaze as it met his was focused with such a single-minded intensity, that he felt like he might be an opponent on the battlefield.
She dropped her gaze, and he could feel her dark eyes trailing over him. All right, now he felt like prey.
Swallowing thickly, he shifted in his chair. Her eyes snapped up to meet his. They were caught in each other’s gaze for a long while, finally she tore her eyes away. A wicked smile curving her lips as she nodded toward the stairs. He returned her smile with one of his and nodded. Draining his tankard, he rose from his chair and headed up the steps with a careful gait.
He had barely made to his door before he could feel her behind him, a welcome presence.
“Why, Seeker,” he drawled, stepping inside the room. “So untoward downstairs, I feel as if I have been laid bare under your gaze.”
Varric clasped his hands over his chest protectively, lowering his eyes demurely.
She laughed at that, light and carefree and he was certain he would never, ever grow tired of that sound. Shutting the door with a faint click, she turned to wrap her arms around his neck.
“Not quite yet,” she whispered against his ear, “now strip, dwarf.”
“If the lady insists,” he replied, turning his head to claim her lips in a fierce kiss.
