These people can not be real. Like what universe do they live? Or at least I have to tell myself this.

Welcome to Pennsylvania, everyone, and I'm not even kidding. This dude? He's not from where I live, but he is representative of a majority of the people in my area. I'm not even kidding. I can't tell you how many people like him have viewed my profile. And guys (and some women, because the ones around me aren't much better) like this are the reason I'm online: I can look at their answers and at least determine how horrible they are, and who I need to avoid.

V - 3 big dreams.

Okay...First one: I'd like to create a comic with a woman as the main character who's plus sized, deals with a mental illness, and you see her life outside of fighting crime, kind of like how they do with every male lead in comics. I can't even tell you the last time I read a comic where they show the smaller details of the life of any woman in comics.

Second, to write something that touches people's lives. Be it something with my comics, or something else, I'd love to do that.

Lastly, I want to make sure that everyone in my life is taken care of. I worry about a lot of my family, especially my cousins who are closer to my age, and my parents being taken care of. So if I could guarantee my family wouldn't have to worry about their financial situations, I'd be happy.

That has to be written by a White person. Honestly, only White people write the most out of the world "Why God Why?" AUs. Like the ones I've stumbled upon in Inuyasha fandom are so embarrassing I just don't even know. Like setting it up in "Cholo" and "Ghetto" places. Not shitting u.

There is a Dean/Cas Au set during "race riots." I shit you not.

Maybe it’s a case of the “cure-the-feminist” thing guys seem to have. Their egos are so huge they don’t think a woman with completely different views could possibly resist them.

I will never understand it. Ever. It really makes me wonder who they've been meeting that makes them think that's possible. And what's sadder is, as a deterrent to keep this from happening, the first thing I list on my profile is that feminism and social issues are DEEPLY important to me. I just...Argh.

I am seriously just thinking of trying to meet people IRL. I’ve only done online dating in the past because of my issues, but with your post and the fedora stuff I keep seeing reblogged I don’t know if I wanna go back to OKC

Honestly, I'm on okc for a few reasons, none of which are really dating: I want to meet new people as pen-pals (cause I love internet friends!), I love moderating and being able to (potentially) lower the banhammer on the scum of that site, I like the quizzes, and it's a good way to search out people I actively need to look out for in my area. I can't tell you how many people I've seen who live in my town that, once I read the answers to their questions, I commit to memory as people to stay the hell away from. I mean, I'm open to possibly finding someone on there, but I doubt it's going to happen. :\
