so you did manage to get me into taskmaster so now i ask you: which seasons do you recommend besides season 7?
Series 4, with Hugh Dennis, Joe Lycett, Lolly Adefope, Mel Giedroyc, and Noel Fielding, is a classic. Lolly is adorable, Mel has some interesting moments, and Noel is Noel.
Series 5, with Aisling Bea, Bob Mortimer, Mark Watson, Nish Kumar, and Sally Phillips, is also excellent, mostly because of Nish's complete inability to do anything at all, and Bob's wild and/or bewildered approach to everything. Sally has a wonderful moment that will stick with me forever.
Series 6, with Alice Levine, Asim Chaudhry, Liza Tarbuck, Russell Howard, and Tim Vine, I also really enjoy. Tim and Liza are amazing to watch.
Series 12, with Alan Davies, Desiree Burch, Guz Khan, Morgana Robinson, and Victoria Coren Mitchell, is amazing. Each of them have such wonderful moments in this series, and if I had to pick a favourite moment from this series, it's Alan Davies' "WOW". You'll see what I mean.
Series 14, with Dara Ó Briain, Fern Brady, John Kearns, Munya Chawawa, and Sarah Millican, is a shitshow of the best sort. Dara's cartoony reactions to things, Fern just vibing and having a laugh, Sarah being a gremlin, Munya being delightful, and John just absolutely messing up everything. Someone on Youtube described this series as, "it has four contestants, and John was just taken off the street and forced to be here".
Series 16, with Julian Clary, Lucy Beaumont, Sam Campbell, Sue Perkins, and Susan Wokoma. Honestly, Sam alone is a good reason to watch this one.
Series 18, with Andy Zaltzman, Babátúndé Aléshé, Emma Sidi, Jack Dee, and Rosie Jones. The combo that is the morose Jack Dee and the cheerful Rosie Jones is a sight to behold.
Series 19, with Fatiha El-Ghorri, Jason Mantzoukas, Mathew Baynton, Rosie Ramsey, and Stevie Martin. All five of these bring amazing energy to the show. Between Fatiha's "what the fuck is this bullshit" energy to Jason's "I'm gonna break my own neck and you can't stop me" energy, it's truly wild.
Series 20, with Ania Magliano, Maisie Adam, Phil Ellis, Reece Shearsmith, and Sanjeev Bhaskar, is probably my personal favourite of all time, and not just because I developed a bit of a crush on Phil. They're all so good in their own ways.
Obviously I like all the series, but I can't just say "uh, watch all of them, lol", because that's not helpful to anyone, haha.
And, of course, if you don't have Dave or some other channel where you can rewatch things at your own leisure, there's the subreddit r/panelshow, where you click "Wiki" and "Available series collection".
