Presenting an old Coffee & Moonshine comic from 2010!

Obviously some changes have been made since then. First of all I don't write their dialogue with heavy Norwegian accents. It doesn't make sense; they're speaking Norwegian, which has been translated to English, so why would they have an accent? These days I give them an accent if they happen to speak English. It gets tedious to read in the long run.

Secondly, Roland's special ability has been changed from "knows everything that happens in all of Norway" to "can hear every human voice within his own area". He's also less nonchalant about it. It renders him incapacitated on a bad day. It didn't use to be so bad, but there are so many humans now...

Thirdly, Buster (eating breakfast) is no longer a man, they're nonbinary. In this comic they're a man, but in future comics they will be nonbinary. I should draw them again, actually.

And, uh, fourthly, I guess, Hektor is less of a freak.

I have an Android tablet which I use for one thing and one thing only: I put on my favourite Youtube channels and I let them lull me to sleep. I let the playlist play all night because I enjoy waking up to these videos.

Yesterday morning I woke up as usual to the sound of my favourite Youtube channel. But... Some time during the day, there must have been some sort of update on my tablet.

I went to bed that night and turned on my tablet and put on my shows, and suddenly the screen turned black.

I figured, huh, that was weird, and I turned it back on. Then it happened again. Something in my head told me it was timed, so I went into the settings and searched for "screen", and I found something called "screen timeout".

It gave me options between fifteen seconds and thirty minutes. There was no "never" option.

I had to find something in the settings called "Build number", tap it seven times to enable "developer options", which then allowed me to see more options in the settings, where I could toggle "stay awake", which would disable screen timeout provided the tablet is charging.

I'm borderline offended that there was no "never" option in the screen timeout settings. Like I'm some sort of toddler who doesn't know anything. I know that it isn't healthy for my tablet to be on for this long, but it's my tablet and I could run it through the dishwasher if I so wanted to. The tablet is my machine. It doesn't belong to you anymore, Google. You don't get to tell me what I can and can't do with your stupid little gadget that I bought with my money.

Every time I get a new follower, I'm like, are you sure? I'm like, listen, I know I draw the funny Hetalia askblog comics, but this is my personal blog where I get personal. Are you sure you want to know the behind-the-scenes Me? You sure you want to see what I get up to when I'm not drawing? You sure you want to see me cry and scream and yell and rage and rant and vent and cheer and cry some more? Interspersed with the occasional drawing? The occasional meme? Four memes per day, at least one of which will be Taskmaster related? And then a whirlwind of whatever the fuck's on my mind whenever I feel like it? And boy, do I feel like it.
