15. Vans and Nam Joo-Hyuk, coffee with pea milk, Christmas and lockdown and hand care, 33 lessons
hello to my first 24 hours of significant observations and glimpses of my day
I was thinking about getting new shoes for a long time (you have to excuse me but by long time i mean a few days maybe even few hours of excessive obsession) so i scrolled like a mad person through every shop and have found many pairs that i loved but love is not enough so i had to think about which outfits can i wear with them which ones are okay to wear with formal and even casual fits, which ones can only look good in a certain way and then choose the ones that can be fitted with every possible outfit from my existent and even imaginery wardrobe and YES in the end i went for the ones that also happened to be my first choice. It's a pair of white beige Vans OG style 36 LX leather with red detail and excuse me again, i love simple white shoes with red details and i needed to replace my very old Comme des Garcons Converse PLAY with many memories with something more fresh like a fresh start if you get me *wink wink*
LOOK AT THEM so beautiful and cute and good with every outfit but it's time to say goodbye i will still wear you once in a while but yea your memories are heavy........ bye
So i went in and ordered and picked them up yesterday and wore them today but in-between that time i also happened to start Start-up since Netflix finally decided to release it there and while i was “watching” the drama while scrolling through my social media (multitasking at its finest) i noticed randomly in one scene that Nam Joo-Hyuk the main character was wearing. the. same. shoes. as. meh. -FANGIRLING MOMENT--
Discover of the day - while i had a conversation with my co-workers about our situation with lockdown and closing coffee shops and all the depressing stuff we came across the existence of PEA milk. Did you ever heard about it because i certainly never did and can't even imagine the taste. So yeah, pea milk is the main theme for today's 24 hours and i have to go and try coffee with pea milk asap.
I also want to start to ramble here a little bit about the craziness of Christmas shopping during this time of sickness. I did not go to this place to shop for Christmas, my hands were just super dry and sad so i had to go and buy a good hand cream but once i stepped inside a shopping mall i almost wanted to run away right away but my hands were really suffering so sacrificing my health i went in. Applause. And i went out with my White Lotus hand cream for very sensitive hands.
Continuing my rambling about Christmas and lockdown this year my family (specifically me and my sister and my mom) decided to absolutely pass on giving gifts because we broke (specifically me and my sister) and by the way why should you even give gifts on Christmas when you can just give them on any day. And because we can't go out to enjoy the Christmas mood in the city with a cup of mulled wine (very very sad about this) we just agreed on baking some cookies and then plan to watch Home Alone, Grinch and all the classic good ol' movies. while eating and getting fat
