vanuary day 4: nightmare

i think if vanessa were to have a recurring dream like mike’s, hers would be of her birthday. each time less and less of her friends show up until she’s the only one left, and then there’s something behind her…

it’s been a longstanding headcanon of mine that vanessa has a pet rabbit, and i like to include it in fics sometimes because i think the idea is cute (and also a little sad) but i realized i’ve never actually drawn him; so meet bonbon!

his name being bonbon is a coincidence to the fazbear entertainment character, as it was the name he was originally given. he’s a flemish giant rabbit with unusual patterning (and ness’s inspiration for the markings on the vanny mask and suit) and vanessa got him when a coworker who had bought him for his children at easter suddenly realized bonbon was going to get a LOT bigger than he anticipated. the coworker brought him into the office to give away, and vanessa took the baby bunny home after giving said coworker an earful about safely and ethically buying pets. now he lazes around all day, ignoring his owner’s weird behavior except when she ‘forgets’ to feed him (meaning she took two minutes too long to pour the food into the bowl)

this is from when they were both serving glitchtrap- retro CD/ggy era. dr rabbit outfit breakdown under the cut

the scar on his nose is from riding in freddy because i feel like it’s highly possible he used to use him to sneak in and out of different areas of the plex while acting as ggy, and that’s why he knew it would work well to hide in freddy during SB. gregory’s a little clumsy and the first time he tried hopping into the stomach hatch one of glamrock freddy’s moving endo parts caught him in the face. ow!

also, he’s a scrawny street orphan and not the most intimidating serial killer, so he tailored his doctor’s coat to make himself look bigger. though it really just makes him look like an even smaller kid wearing a huge coat.

his bodysuit is patterned like MXES’s body and he based MXES off of his old suit because he thought the design was too cool-looking to let go to waste

his doctor’s headband thing is made of scrap and an old CD he found in the garbage. when the mask is on the right way around he can put it over the mask. it may or may not be the final retro CD 💿

back on my vanuary grind and i wrote a fic for day 6: rain! thank god the link embed worked this time or i would’ve lost my mind

fic summary: Vanessa picks Abby up from school on a rainy afternoon.

i kind of made this one longer than i thought it was gonna be lol i think what it was is that the spirit of scott cawthon himself possessed me, no wonder i suddenly feel the urge to make bad christian children’s video games
