Crystal, love... I haven't watched today's episode of LoK, but for what I've seen all I have to say is "WTF!?" Whatever happened to keeping things simple? They have completely destroyed a great and loved ship and all for what?! This is - in all honesty - making me feel like I'm wasting my time with this show, this has become just another Twilight, when there was the enormous chance for this to become an icon show like it's predecessor.

Trust me, the Korra parts wayyy outbalance the side plot in terms of quality. It is absolutely, 1000% worth your time to watch the episode for Korra and the air family - you can just fast forward or skip entirely the Mako, Bolin, and Asami plot points.

The good thing about this show is that as unpleasant and unwelcome these bits are, they’re also relatively short, so you can def skip them and get to the good stuff without getting lost. Forget about the Flopkrew and just bask in how awesome and amazing Korra is in this ep, and the adorable interactions she gets with her defacto family.
