Another little thing about vaorilia

- the Tritons are deep sea fish inspired who are blind but have such advanced echolocation (and an incredibly sound based culture) that they have buildings that when you look at them sound like symphonies

- they also are the longest lived race on vaorilia besides the dragons

- even then that's a maybe. No one's seen one die

Tiny fun facts about my setting as I'm on the train

- Orcs have a sprawling merchant kingdom on the middle of a desert just above the Eldritch location know as the glass waste

- they can also potentially have scarab wings as a like secondary trait and use them to create subsonic sounds that only other orcs can hear to send messages covertly over long distances

- the tieflings and the warforged live in a giant series of floating cities in a hostile mountain range that are always moving. The empire of Theran is north of the orcs merchant cities.

- the tieflings have the most obvious physical diversity with wild number of horn shapes, eye types , tail shapes, hoove sizes and even fingers (with the average between three and seven on each hand)

- they've been at war with the aasimar for about 500 years now.

Thank you for asking, because it looks she might not actually be my back up character anymore but i love her so I want to talk about her and her apparently now being moved to my own setting backstory!

Name: Ser Verna Yvonrina Dahn, Knight of The Second Order of The Purple Rose of the Elven City of Mornethas

Nickname(s): Friends in the Order tend to call her Dahn, friends outside of the order tend to call her Verna or if your a very particular Dwarf Cleric of Ilder, Mother of Stone, Vern

Gender: Female

Sexuality: Pansexual

Best Friend: A Dwarven Cleric named Ernya Vondor is her closest and dearest friend among her adventuring party in the DISTANT past of Vaorilia. Ernya is a kind and jovial Cleric of the Mother of Stone, one of the old gods, whose domains include invention, and comedy. Ernya is often the good cop to Verna’s stone faced cop. And The two rarely do anything outside of their respective orders without each other.

Relationship Status: Single

Crush/Significant Other: Considering her adventuring party atm is pretty much just Ernya there is none as of yet. Though, until her superiors decided to be particularly Elf :tm: she doesn’t really have time for one. Married to her job so to say.

Least Favourite Person: What or whoever is causing the time distortions and mass disappearances in Vaorilia in her time. Also the head of her order and defacto leader of the city is kinda a colossal racist douche.

Favourite Food: She is a lover of all things sweet.

Favourite Place: The Noble House her human mother worked was always kind to her, going so far as to lend her her surname for her knighthood. Lord Dahns Kindness has won that home a special place in her heart. Though, she was also fond of the time spent with her Father growing up, the few times she went with him on adventures.

Valued Attributes: Loyalty. Honor. Honesty. Compassion. Fairness. So on, she’s a big believer in Knightly virtues to hold up.

Dreams: She dreams of not having to dye her hair to keep her position. Of being able to openly talk about her family without fear of superiors. She dreams of an era of peace for the world and a small village in need of a militia head who would be willing to take a Half Drow Knight as an option.

Nightmares: Being Dishonored in front of her comrades. Being complicit in the injury of innocents. Seeing any harm come to her family.

A Secret: Ser Verna is a Half Elf Knight who on paper is the daughter of Lord Dahn and one of his maids. This is a lie. Her father is a traveling Drow Adventurer named Belral Taur a worshiper of Cerina, Three Of the Moon and resident hopeless romantic of his adventuring party. She is on very good terms with her father and wishes he could stay or that her and her mother could have traveled with him growing up. She keeps her true parentage hidden because once again, head of city is a dick.

Best Day: The Day she was Knighted in front of the Queen of Mornethas.

Worst Day: When ever she changes from Purple Dragon Knight Mechanically to Paladin of Cerina. It’s bound to happen as its somewhere in her notes and story build but also like, her gig will be up then and she is afraid.

Favourite Outfit: Her plate armor, engraved with intricate roses and tinted purple.

Weapon of Choice: Long Sword, and Shield. She’s a fan of the classic.

Role in RPG: [tank/dps/healer/healtank/et cetra] Healer Tank, just from her actual 5e builds.

First Thought in the Morning: I need to actually write the Knight code for her order and like, build up the world of Vaorilia before the cataclysm so like. I’ll get back to you on that one.
