I had a bunch of drunk cis people grilling me about my gender and mistakenly callling it sexuality and this girl was like "I think it's so awesome and cool that you use THEY" and one guy like didn't wanna use my pronouns until I explained my gender to him and even then he still confused it with sexuality and definitely didn't get it and kept going on the defensive like "uhhoo I can't keep up with all the terms and stuff" and I was just sitting there like... /why did you even ask me to explain I know ur just gonna think of me as a girl anyway because you clearly lack the depth to conceive anything beyond binary and assigned genders so??/ Just call me "they" to the best of your hillbilly ability and that's the end of it, shut up, I know you don't respect me anyway you just don't want my friends yelling at you I mean it's better than people who blatantly refuse to use ur pronouns, it's better than violence but God it was emotionally and mentally draining and it has sent me on a real spiral of self hatred coupled with the fact that I've been having a lot of body issues again lately I'm basically disgusted and uncomfortable with myself
Watching horror on VHS gives me some kind of strange satisfaction that I don't get from watching it in other mediums and I don't understand it and I wish I still had a VCR...
