My personal opinion and brief analysis👀
I'm watching the gameplay(yeah I don't play it because I'm a damn scaredy-cat and hearing someone commenting cleanse my soul x')))of the first "Diabolik lovers"game and...I get why people complained so much about the anime adaptation after seeing the game... It could had a lot of potential as "horror","psychological", "vampire romance" story. Even if in the anime they would have decided for a reverse ending, and it would have been a drama it would have been FREAKING GOOD(in my opinion), since most of the more beautiful vapire romance stories are tragedies🥀 ( "Dracula" "inteview with the vampire" etc.)plus the game talk about a lot of toxic topics so a drama could suit the game very well... they could have been soo creative yet using so many beautiful references to those novels and from folkloristic tales and myths(I don't see why don't make references of this type since they already completely twisted the game in the anime🤷♀️) at least it would have been a really good and unique anime...
I hope they'll make a well thought remake, it would be interesting👀
