The technician turned up the sevoflurane vapouriser
And then the gas nurse lowered the mask
You breathe in the strong anaesthetic vapour. Soon the moment will come when your eyelids close and you will reach the point of no return.
A fleeting moment when you are not yet asleep and not quite awake.
A moment where you know you've lost the fight, where you feel utterly helpless.
There we go. Shut those sleepy eyes for me
Let the sedative put you fast asleep.
There we go, fall asleep. Go to sleep, deep asleep. So deeply asleep.
It feels so good to stop fighting and go to sleep.
And when you have fallen asleep, we can do whatever experiments we please.
