updated how i draw gelfling, now they are more puppet accurate! i’ve been practicing with my design of gelfling for almost a year or two, so seeing it payed off makes me so proud! these are a few old characters i had created near the start of my obsession for this franchise.

(materials: several layers of micron and bic pen ink, graphite, prismacolor colored pencil, and posca acrylic paint all fighting to the death. started in like 2019, finished Oct 2025)

Vapra Clan Banner Flag - Jim Henson Company 70th Anniversary Auction on Julien's Auctions, sold for $1,280 - Lot 115

"A banner flag with the emblem of the Vapra Clan of Gelflings used in the production of the prequel series The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance (Netflix, 2019). 

The faded-purple flag features three hand-painted Vapra Clan emblems with eight long fringe tails on one side. Flags such as this can be seen in the final episode of the series, "A Single Piece Was Lost," when the Vapra Clan joins the battle alongside the other Gelfling Clans to fight against the Skeksis soldiers.

No one noticed, but Erling Haaland looks like one of the Gelfling from the Vapra clan.

I “finished” my fan art. I was trying to make it look like the cover of a comic book that will never exist. Since the Vapran live near hot springs, I thought it would be cool if there was a sort of sauna area in the mountains known as the Hot Rocks. I figured a creature from the caves of Grot might find these very surprising!
