Vapra Clan Banner Flag - Jim Henson Company 70th Anniversary Auction on Julien's Auctions, sold for $1,280 - Lot 115

"A banner flag with the emblem of the Vapra Clan of Gelflings used in the production of the prequel series The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance (Netflix, 2019).

The faded-purple flag features three hand-painted Vapra Clan emblems with eight long fringe tails on one side. Flags such as this can be seen in the final episode of the series, "A Single Piece Was Lost," when the Vapra Clan joins the battle alongside the other Gelfling Clans to fight against the Skeksis soldiers.

Oh guys, what an exciting, what an incredible evening when the prop auction was about to finish! And oh my god, some people were really fighting for the coolest stuff. At the end the Lestat-lot was sold for 4,200 € - isn't that really crazy? But let's be honest - the letter to Louis alone is worth it.

The lot containing the book cover and lots of photos was sold for 3,800 €.

And the lot related to our beloved Daniel Molloy was sold for 2.000 €.

I would have loved to have Daniel's notepad and his credit card and all the other things. Buuut: I might have been successful myself 😊😊😊 and might soon be the owner of a certain Armand photo 😍😍😍. I'm so happy, you have no idea. Aaaand: Very soon I will be able to eat my ice cream out of the bowls Louis and Armand used for drinking their blood. 😄

So listen, guys. The lot I was able to purchase contains a lot of photos of Louis' Paris apartment. And there are the edible photos, too, uhu 😉. I'm thinking about offering another auction because I'm sure that many of you would love to have one of these photos. I will let you know when the auction is ready.

Okay I’m sorry to whoever I called a little shit earlier. I was in a bad place. Buuuuuuut I won something!!! And I’m so freaking excited! I’ve been giggling like a fool

I won this and I am beyond excited and am so incredibly grateful. I feel so blessed to now own a piece of the show. I had originally wanted the conch due to the sentimental value it would hold for me so I was upset to have lost this. But this was something that stood out to me when I had first found out about the auction. So I found it crazy that I won! Honestly the last person to bid before me had bid on the 17th and it’s currently the 24th. It’s wild to me that I won this. I thought it would have been a bigger fight. But I did it! And will post photos when it comes into the mail. Ben is my second favorite character and I’m beyond excited to have a screen used prop that Justin had used. I’m nerding out so hard right now (sorry that was cringe). Also I have a costume from Jumanji welcome to the jungle! It’s Martha’s gym costume. Just felt like sharing that.

So there was recently a TUA prop action (that I feel gutted to have missed despite being a broke student who couldn't gave afforded even the cheapest lots) and one the items was Klaus' rehab 'accessories' which includes a form stating the things he was carrying on admission and I find it so funny.

They really were going gor the stereotypical hippie/spiritual person vibe, eh?

Wondering if there's a scene where we were meant to see the bag of belongings Klaus grabs from reception opened, two separate tarot card designs suggest yes.

My tarot knowledge is minimal at best so looked up the meaning of the moon and read a few descriptions, all had things you could maybe see as applying to the season but in quite vague ways and then I read a description that contained this paragraph.

I mean...I don't think I need to elaborate on who I think this applies to. 😂

The card design is interesting. It has elements of the usual moon design but is missing some. The tightrope walker between the towers is an interesting addition, there normally isn't anything connecting the towers.
