You guys know how I love character profiles so I commissioned some of my favorite artists to create profile pages for some of my Black Clover next gen ocs.
These are the children of Morgen Faust and my main oc Josele.
Thank you @koneko-pi @cringeyvanillamilk @crazycookiemaniac and @mikuyuuss for your amazing work!

“Are you sure you all will be fine at home?”
Josele stood at the threshold of House Faust’s front entrance. She wore a floor-length ball gown with a cobalt blue bodice and a skirt that started the same hue and faded to a baby blue. A large bow at the waist and fabric flowers decorated the gown, and glitter made Josele shine like a star.
Despite being ready to attend that evening’s event, Josele hesitated to leave her home and her children who wouldn’t be in attendance.
Standing in the doorframe was Josele’s eldest daughter, Sterling. The redhead giggled and held her mother’s shoulders.
“Don’t worry about us, Mother,” Sterling answered. “Us kids drew lots so it’s not like we can be bitter about not going.”
“You’re sure?” Josele pressed, her brows furrowed.
“Very sure.” Sterling leaned back and shouted into the house. “Now don’t keep Father, Uncle, and the others waiting, Mother!” She turned Josele around and pushed her towards the cluster of family waiting for the lady of the house.
“Right then! Okay!” Josele yelped as awkwardly stumbled forward from her daughter’s push. She glanced over her shoulder and smiled. “Take care of each other while we’re away.”
“Like we’d do anything else,” answered Sterling with a lazy wave of her hand.
With that, Sterling closed the door to House Faust and Josele went to where the rest of her family was waiting in the shade of trees. Nacht and Morgen greeted her with their usual loving smiles, plus a kiss on the hand from Nacht and a peck on the cheek from Morgen. Dawn excitedly bounced on the balls of her feet. Dusk fidgeted with the coat of his suit but there was still a small, eager grin on his face. Albert and Varg were whispering to each other, something about who will woo their beloved better. Valerian popped his knuckles, as if he was preparing for a fight and not a party. And Vivian stared at her mother, quiet and unreadable in her expression.
“Sorry for the hold up, everyone.”
“It’s perfectly alright, dear,” Morgen assured her. “Besides, we’re guaranteed to make it on time. Right?” He looked to Nacht, Dusk, and Varg.
Nacht sighed, “You’re lucky I like you, otherwise I’d be mad at you for treating me like Finral.”
“Sorry, sorry.” Morgen patted Nacht on the shoulder. “Thank you, the three of you, for helping us travel to the ball.”
“Now what are we waiting for?” Dawn exclaimed, throwing her arms into the air. She threw an arm around Dusk’s shoulders. “Let’s get going!”
With Nacht and Dusk’s Shadow Magic and Varg’s Eclipse Magic, the members of House Faust sank into the shadows before rising from them in front of Clover’s grand. Valerian and Varg quickly dashed away to be the first to enter. Dawn yelled “C’mon!” while she grabbed Dusk and Albert’s wrists to drag them along. And Vivian turned to her parents and uncle.
“It appears that us youths shall be taking the lead.”
“Not that you need us to guide you in,” Josele answered. She took a moment to adjust the ribbon in Vivian’s hair before letting her go. “We’ll see you all inside.”
“Have fun, Vivi,” Nacht said.
Vivian nodded then walked towards the palace entrance.
The three seniors of House Faust took a moment to themselves to make any final touch ups to their outfits. Nacht straightened the cuffs of his dress shirt and adjusted his cravat. Morgen shook down the cloak he wore with his suit. And Josele smoothed out the large ribbon that draped down the side of her gown. Both men offered their arm to the woman they loved, to which Josele decided to take Nacht’s arm. However, she did take a second to give Morgen a kiss and whisper, “You get my first dance though, okay?”
Josele: You're walking down the street one day and a stranger approaches you, threatening to hurt you unless you give them money. What's your response?
Dawn: Fight.
Albert: Flee.
Dusk: Freeze.
Varg: Fuck.
Josele: ... (turns on communication device) Yami, get ready for me to pummel you next time we spar.
Oh my goodness so many questions! Thank you, Marune~! You know how I love having lots of questions to answer it seems!
Josele
6) Who will they take advice from, no matter what it is? Who won’t they take advice from, no matter what it is?
Josele would be guaranteed to take advice from Henry, Finral, and Fuegoleon. Henry's advice comes from his open-mindedness and optimism regarding the world, making Josele hold onto her hope. Finral is a slight mess but his life experience allows him to give nuanced suggestions. And Fuegoleon is straight up intelligence and strategic in his thinking.
Josele wouldn't even take advice from Gueldre if it might save her life. She's seen too much scummy behavior from him to ever believe him. It'd also be impossible to see her take advice from Luck; they're friends but Luck's ways of thinking and Josele's personality don't exactly mesh.
14) Would they agree with the term ‘guilty pleasure’? Do they have any?
Hmm. I'd say yes, Josele would agree with the term because the world is an ambivalent place. Things that are bad can still feel good for some.
Josele's own guilty pleasures include silly romance books and overpoweringly acidic/sour foods. Cheesy romance lines make her laugh. And she thinks Nacht makes a cute puckered face when he kisses her after she's had sour candies.
18) Kissing: tongue or no tongue?
Josele likes tongue sometimes but it's not her preference. Probably a 30/70 split for tongue vs no tongue.
30) What would they do if they knew it would be forgiven?
Maybe kissing Acylla (@faewraithsworld's oc). They've known each other since the beginnings of the Black Bulls and have become extremely close. So if it's guaranteed that Nacht and Zora would forgive her for it, Josele would give her favorite maiden a chivalrous kiss on the hand.
.....
Varg
1) Do they sleep with a stuffed animal? If they have multiple, who’s the favorite?
No, not really. Varg doesn't like soft, fluffy things so stuffed animals were never really his thing.
13) Name one thing their parents taught them.
From Morgen, Varg learned how to use healing spells. Since Eclipse Magic is an offshoot of Light Magic, it was relatively easy for Morgen to teach Varg how to tap into his own healing capabilities.
Josele taught Varg how to maneuver his body and perform parkour. Varg's magic is handy in several ways but he struggles with mana skin and thus can't rely on it to protect his person and enhance his physical abilities.
18) Kissing: tongue or no tongue?
Tongue! Tongue! Tongue! Varg is all about that mouth action in a kiss and it makes his sweetheart, Rapunzel, all flustered.
30) What would they do if they knew it would be forgiven?
Hm... Probably elope with Rapunzel. Varg knows his parents and siblings would want to be present to help celebrate but Varg would want the most romantic moment of his life to be for just him and his new wife.
Also, it would mean that Nozel wouldn't skin him alive for spiriting Rapunzel away! 😆
Woo hoo! More questions for Varg! Thank you for asking, Marune!
Seeing that you didn't specify whether or not you were asking from the meta or thematic questions, I'll just answer for both~! Hope you're okay with that.
Meta
1) What inspired you to create your oc?
So initially, Varg's twin Albert wasn't born a twin. But I decided that Albert needed a twin, someone equal to him that could keep him on his toes. Varg also contrasts Albert in a lot of ways, he's more casual and obviously affectionate while Albert is reserved about his feelings. Albert keeps his distance while Varg is always around others.
7) Does your oc have any notable skills or good personality traits? Why did you give them those traits? Why do they exist in-universe?
Varg is excellent at parkour. He can easily scale buildings and leap distances without any enhancement from magic. He's also a master as misdirection, using those distractions as opening to mess with people. I gave him those traits because he is meant to take after a certain someone in his family and I wanted an oc that was on the chaotic side. As for the in-universe reason, Varg definitely would've trained with Mama Josele to get as athletic as he is and his attribute just kinda inclined him towards learning to misdirect people's attention.
When it comes to positive personality traits, I think Varg's proclivity for going all out is a good thing. He doesn't do things half-heartedly and I admire people who can put their all into the things they do. This part of Varg's personality is something he learned from his parents, who help others with their all, love each other and the kids openly, and just live with their hearts on their sleeves.
10) What is your favorite trait regarding your oc?
Nyeheheheheh! What I love about Varg is that, despite being Morgen's son, Varg really takes after his Uncle Nacht. It throws people off (in-universe and at least one person IRL) and I think it's just funny to think that Morgen would unintentionally raise a child that turns into a punk like Nacht. The troublesome attitude is a genuine part of Varg but it also works as a way for him to obscure his big, soft heart.
Thematic
1) What is the main color associated with them? What connections with that color do they share?
I associate Varg with the colors black and white equally. Together, they symbolize contrast and Varg's character contrasts his twin, but he also has some contrast in his own person. While a chaotic trickster, Varg also believes in justice and helping others.
On its own, the color black is associated with mystery, strength, darkness, luxury, and mourning. Varg is strong, physically and magically, and would probably feign a mysterious aura to tease people. The ideas of luxury and mourning don't really work with Varg though as he prefers things that are plain and would be one to celebrate life rather than mourn death.
The color white symbolizes purity, simplicity, light, hope, and emptiness. As I mentioned earlier, Varg likes simple things. And, in a way, it can be said that Varg is a hopeful guy, as he tends to see the best in others. White kinda works as it's a color associated with the Silver Eagles (alongside silver and blue), and that's the squad that Varg joins as a Magic Knight. Otherwise, the color white doesn't really work with Varg when not paired with black.
7) What time of day are they associated with?
Varg's time of day is noon/midday. His magic, Eclipse Magic, is about the sun and moon crossing paths and I think the idea of a solar eclipse at high noon is iconic (even though an eclipse can occur at any time of day). It's all about that contrast, you know!
10) Are they closer to life or death?
Varg's character is more about life. He lives his life to the fullest. He's often busy doing something, never just sitting around waiting for something to happen. And, as I said, he celebrates life. He doesn't allow himself to brood about doom and death when he and his friends can be having a good time, laughing and enjoying themselves. He doesn't fear death and believes that he'll always come out alive in the end.
Here it is, the family tree if Morgen and Josele got to have their happily ever after...
Since I don't actually have posts for the Morgsele children (yet), let me share some info about them here.
Albert is the eldest child with Varg being his younger twin.
Albert likes to keep his emotions in check and that calmness makes him easy to approach for others. He can be distrustful, having heard people badmouth his parents. But at his core, he's a softie who wants to help others.
Albert's attribute is Prismatic Light Magic. He generates and controls light in multiple colors and the colors of the lights he creates have a variety of effects, such as blue light being able to douse things similar to Water Magic. This attribute is a result of Morgen's Light Magic and the fact that Josele's Emotion Magic which is able to produce multiple elements.
Varg is mischievous and thrill-seeking. Very outgoing and likes to mess with his loved ones. Looks like a delinquent but does his best to avoid any extreme behaviors that could get him in trouble with the law (unless his sweetheart is involved).
Varg's attribute meanwhile is Eclipse Magic. If Shadow Magic is an in-between for Dark and Light Magic, Eclipse is between Shadow and Light Magic, able to utilize aspects of both attributes, such as shadow teleportation and Light Magic's affinity for healing.
Iris is the third child of the family and the first of the non-twin children.
A lover of poetry and romance so a lot of his talking can come out unintentionally flirty. When he needs to think, he tends to overthink and stress himself out. Surprisingly pessimistic at times.
His attribute is Dark Magic. Josele was thoroughly shocked but Morgen understood that it was a possibility considering the Faust bloodline.
Valerian and Friedrich are the second pair of twins, with Valerian being the older of the two.
Valerian is quite the confident one. He's got a lot of energy and zero impulse control. He loves people with "snappy" attitudes who can challenge him.
He got his Wind Magic from Grandpa Thomas. When he discovered his attribute, he became a lot more of a handful for Josele and Morgen.
Friedrich is the quieter of the twins. He's friendly but not all that outgoing. When he's interested in something, he gets deeply invested. Finds his attribute dull compared to his siblings'.
In contrast to Valerian's Wind, Friedrich got Earth Magic. Since it's so different from the rest of the family's it was hard for Fried to get a handle on it without a teacher.
Sable and Blanche are the third, and last, of the twin children. They are also the first daughters to Morgen's delight (he's a smidge of a girl dad, I'm sorry).
Sable is a sweetheart, just like her parents. Very imaginative. Extremely trusting. Somewhat airheaded. She means well but can find herself in trouble too easily.
In contrast to her bright personality, Sable has Shadow Magic. People tend not to believe her when she first tells them what her attribute is because it doesn't "fit" her.
Blanche is Sable's contrast in every way. She's gloomy and withdrawn. She's level-headed and doesn't care for people much.
Blanche has Light Magic that has a lavender tint to it. Unlike Albert's magic, the color of Blanche's Light Magic has no special effect.
The baby of the family is Isolde.
She's quiet and finds it hard to approach others. But if someone else takes the time to reach out to her, she readily opens up.
She's so young that Isolde has yet to discover what her magic attribute is. However, given that none of her older siblings have inherited Emotion Magic yet, Josele is hoping that Isolde will be the one to have it.
