First Level of Hell: Completed. (Varinia's Reflection of the BB)

BB aftermath. - Day One Status

Health status - Alive, unharmed

Item status - Nothing

Company - No one

Location - Southeast Jungle

The clock hits zero at the Cornucopia. Severus told her, back at the capitol, "GO FOR A BAG!" But Varinia was reluctant because she knew about half the kids who go into the Cornucopia don't make it out. She was not willing to take a chance with Marius. He would be devastated if she died in the Bloodbath. She directly turned around and headed straight for the forest. The image of the young girl from four blowing up was still ingrained in Varinia's mind. She wasn't scared of the blood and gore. After all we all have it- so what is the point of worrying. 

Her heart starts to beat faster and faster. As she makes it into the woods she could hear the screams of Faustus, and the boy from 10that was on her platform next to her. Varinia desperately wanted to go back and help the dying kids- but that was silly. This is Hell we are here to pay for our sins for all of time. This was the Hunger Games. Not home.

She sees the girl from Eleven heading straight towards her. Varinia braced herself for a fight as she continued to run. Varinia got a closer look at the girl from Eleven and realized she was just as scared as Varinia was. Varinia turned and headed southeast.

She continued into the jungle. It was dark and may as well consume all the life of whoever enters into it. Varinia took a deep breath and plunged into the darkness. I just went through the first layer of hell. Varinia thought referring to the bloodbath. She was playing with the metaphor in her head. The Hunger Games are Hell Varinia thought as she ran deeper and deeper into the jungle.I am here to pay for sins, it is going to be very painful, and each part of the games is a different part of hell.I am the biggest criminal here probably. She thought about Lilia and the little boy from years past.

She ran and ran. She would take short breaks once and a while, but her focus was to go deeper and deeper into the jungle- away from anyone. It was two when Varinia stopped running, and she decided to half walk/alf jog. The capitol emblem will appear in about three hours. She walked along- she was looking for something to drink. All of the running has tired her out. Varinia was used to the humidity back home- but in the Hunger Games, you need a source of water.

It was getting closer to night when Varinia looked up into the sky. The birds were starting to fly home for the night.

Everything Taken. Varinia's Interview Outfit/Para

No doubt about it. Her stylist, Augustus Waters was the definition of a Captilian. 

Varinia watched her stylist work on her dress while she sat on her black salon chair with three people from her prep-team surrounding her like vultures. Her hair was being pulled back and styled. Her face and hands were being painted. "Well Varinia! Look at your pretty face!" One of the prep-team said the her while paining her lips red. "Don't be so sad! You want to smile for the Capitol!"

Augustus Waters smiled while looking down, sowing her dress. "Yes, you got a low score, but that doesn't mean that you can't make it past the bloodbath!" The prep-team nodded in agreement.

"I am still a little mad at the Gamemakers." Augustus continued to blabber- leaving Varinia only to nod every minute or so to show that she was half-listening.

"I told 'em, 'This girl deserves a REAL wedding dress! Not the tacky thing she wore to the reaping! I threw that into the fire!' But they just said no! Ugh. I will show them!" Varinia felt a twinge of anger. Not at the gamemakers. The gamemakers will do whatever they do because it is their job. But destroying on of the last few things of home? That was a different story.

"YOU THREW MY wedding dress into a fire!" She yelled for the first time in the week she has been here. Her prep team jumped back like scared birds. "That dress costed me a whole months pay to get! I spent hours with Marius working in the fields to get that dress and to pay for the marriage license!"

Now, the Capitol wasted all that work by forcing Varinia to die, and destroying her dress.

Augustus seemed to unaffected by Varinia's anger as he stitched the last stitches of her dress. In fact he was smiling. "Ah cheer up! You come from nothing, you'll go back to nothing!" He laid the finished dress down on the table and walked over to Varinia and shooed the prep-team away. Augustus spun her salon chair around with a flair that could only be found in the Capitol.  "What do you got to lose?" 

Varinia replied, "My life."

"Exactly! NOTHING!"

Varinia could see his big, fat, dumb grin on Augustus' face in the mirror. She would spend her last few moments of social interaction with this flea of a human being. However, he was right. In the Capitol, her name will just be added to an ever growing list of dead tributes. The Capitol won't view her as a girl just barely eighteen, with her whole life ahead of her,- they will view her as the pointless girl who died on the first day. Pointless. Un-needed. Never stood a chance. Forgotten as fast as she had died.

But in the eyes of Marius, her father, Mara, Amadeus, and Cyprianius, her life was a priceless jewel that nothing will never replace. 

A pit grew in her stomach. Augustus could see the cogs turning in her head. Varinia smiled, even if she hated him. Though stupid, her stylist knows how give a person an idea, with out really saying the idea.

This had helped her ten times more than any interview training could.

BLENDING IN [w. Lucia & Varinia]

Time Frame - Training Day Two

Location - Training Center (Camouflage)

Cael spotted the Camouflage area, that would definitely prove useful in the arena! Making his way over, he took notice of a long table full of interesting items found in nature. He examined each one closely as well as reading the descriptions of what they are and where they are found. As he made his way down the line his mind was already racing with how each could potentially be used in different circumstances.

At the end of the table were photographs as well as detailed step-by-step directions of how to properly execute each technique. Glancing at one which appeared to be if the tribute was hiding in greenery, he grabbed the required materials and began manipulating them.

Varinia's stomach was filled after she finished with the edible food station. She didn't want to eat quite yet. She went to the knives. Her mind was still on Silver. She was a little nervous. She was the first person to get there. She she picks up the knives and trains.

Varinia was excited for this. It was the first time Varinia has a chance to talk to tributes outside of lunch. She went over to the corner of the training center filled with rock-climbing walls, and fake trees, and sides of buildings. The male trainer stood there, tall, lean, and nimble. Silver already beat her there, but Aelius wasn't there yet.
