First time ever playing #shortstick in a game, he didn't come out hardly at all, coach used him as his regular #closedefense #lsm #longstickmiddie and put him in as #middie with his short stick. The team did amazing and took the win 6-1. First time playing together as a team they meshed incredibly well, several of the boys had never played before which is different than usual at this age so they really rocked it! My man did spend 4 minutes in the #penaltybox for two #penalty #penalties - this past year he's been thrown in with the wolves to learn to play and get those skills because we had to put him in #tournament #tournamentleague #boxlacrosse #varsitylacrosse so apparently the rules for in season in his actual age group are a little different. I guess it's all good though because Coach was happy and didn't yell!
