This is where Werecat Rose originated from, as it's relevant to my previous post.
From left to right, Rose dressed up as a vampire werecat, Opal dressed up as Salt Lamp from BFDI, and Vasey dressed up as a cowboy.
Vasey are a Nottingham based band fronted by Karl Vasey with a “massive, modern rock sound”. Brett Turner of AVP Music Videos asked me along to an old church in the heart of Derby to take the behind the scenes photos of their latest video shoot – “A Throne That’s Nowhere”. Well I love an old church and a live band so of course I said yes! The old church featured the ten commandments in gold on the wall as well as some great iron work. With our ear plugs in and our eyes opened we spent a great day with the band and I think I managed to get some interesting shots for them to promote the video with.

This is the second time I've photographed this melodic East Midlands rock outfit, led by songwriter Karl Vasey. We shot lots of outdoor set-ups in their base-town of Long Eaton, but this one is from the reception area of their rehearsal space.
