One of Uta's absolute happiest memories is the memory of having opened his studio to the public. Opening it with the knowledge that he would be using his talents to help people, using his art to help people, made him feel incredibly potent. He felt as if he'd found a certain sense of meaning, and as though he'd discovered something that would allow him to help his fellow ghouls, which he saw as fixing the problems he'd caused in the 4th Ward, however indirectly.

Uta actually does not like coffee all that much. Besides deep roast, he doesn't enjoy the taste of coffee as much as other ghouls might. However, because it is the only other thing that his body can properly digest, he drinks it, in order to 'walk a tightrope'. If he orders anything other than deep roast, then it's usually at Anteiku, as he dislikes their way of making espresso, as it doesn't taste right to him.

Depending on his workload at the studio, Uta may or may not get a lot of sleep. If he's particularly inspired, his sleep debt increases drastically. He's been known to pull all-nighters in the sake of his art. If he has no pressing engagements in the vein of his clients, then Uta's sleep schedule will return to normal.

Uta dislikes the cold. He also dislikes extreme heats. Uta has a personal preference for weather that is 'just right'. Spring-time, in other words, is his favorite season, as the weather is temperate. He also enjoys rainy days, so long as he is inside, so he may watch the rainfall outside.
